Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Our new HR Manager will provide HR expertise across North America (NA) Nike Direct Store teams, enhancing organizational effectiveness and integrating program and practices between Nike World Headquarters and our cross-functional retail stores team. We are a dynamic HR team who play a vital role in leading and helping with daily operations, team support, projects, and long-term initiatives. Coordinating a full spectrum of HR programs and services, we build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals across the Nike Direct Stores team. Using strong written, spoken and interpersonal skills, we demonstrate the desire to train and educate others. We are looking for an individual who is results driven, has the ability to influence senior leaders as well as work with ambiguity and minimal direction.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You'll partner across Nike Direct Store team to capture employee and marketplace insights, data and trends which you will use to oversee solutions and actions that will drive organizational health, engagement and achievement of strategic objectives. You will apply a variety of methods to ensure you have a strong presence across HR and within the business that yields an "insiders" pulse on strengths and opportunities and will work to drive action plans that produce targeted results.
You'll also operate as a point of escalation through partnership with HR Direct, Operations, and Employee Relations.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
We are all in this together! You'll sit on the NA HR Marketplace team and report directly to the Sr. HRBP, Nike Direct Retail. You will partner with Nike Direct leadership team who drive the strategy for the retail field organization. You will work closely with the NA Nike Direct HR team and be the key business parter to the corporate retail function in support of the stores.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training.
- 5 years' relevant Human Resources work experience.
- Support multiple business partners with competing priorities and keep a high level of service.
- Proven ability to calmly, confidently, and confidentially engage with management and multiple key partners to address opportunities and needs, as appropriate.
- Exposure/experience in areas of organizational effectiveness, change management, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training and development, HR program management.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement HR programs and plans that are aligned with overall business and HR strategy.
- Exercise a high degree of professionalism and communication with confidential information.
- Strong process and project management skills, and able to translate vision into action.
Preferred:
- Experience leading HR within a retail organization.
- Previous business-facing HR Generalist and/or HRBP experience.
