As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will support our Human Resources Business Partner and site leadership on all matters relative to Human Resources. The HR Coordinator will be a key member of the management team and is responsible for ensuring all administrative, financial, and operational aspects are running smoothly. This includes owning and leading cross-functional initiatives, driving accountability within the team, promoting continuous process improvements and building a culture centered around employee engagement and LS&Co. values.

About the job:
- Key stake holder in managing administration for employee life cycle.
- Address and respond to employee relation concerns, including but not limited to payroll, attendance, and work performance matters.
- Participate in employee performance investigations.
- Administer and reconcile timecard and payroll functions for the site.
- Improve processes by creating people reports, analyzing data and documentation, and making recommendations.
- Conduct hiring interviews and exit interviews.
- Partner with team members and management to communicate various HR policies, procedures, and changes to processes.
- Facilitate and help provide training to DC team members.
- Participate in team member recognition, milestone, and rewards program coordination.
- Participate and conduct new hire orientation.
- Participate in process improvement for the department
- Maintain employment data within the HRIS and electronic filing systems, including but not limited to on and off-boarding disciplinary updates.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Associates degree, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience working in fast paced environment
- Relative HR experience
- HRIS and payroll proficiency is preferred
- Comfortable seeking opinions from individuals or teams, actively listening, and brainstorming.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; must be versatile and willing to assist where needed across the site operations
- Curiosity to pursue new ways of getting things done
