Job description

HR Senior Specialist - Benefits/Retirement
The HR Senior Specialist - Benefits will coordinate the administration of the company's retirement programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage outside vendors to coordinate the administration of the company-wide retirement programs to ensure proper processes and controls are in place to ensure excellence in execution
- Partner with Finance, Treasury, Payroll, Legal and HRIS teams as needed to drive accurate delivery and financial reporting
- Lead all efforts regarding the development and delivery of legally required notices including the Pension Annual Funding Notice, the Annual Fee Disclosure Statement and quarterly 401(k) statement notices
- Lead all work related to Proxy reporting and summary reports for Board review
- Assist our auditors with the annual qualified Pension and qualified 401(k) plan audits
- Lead the data collection for all retirement projects including but not limited to annual actuarial valuation and discrimination testing
- Lead the updating SPDs, SMMs, and plan highlight documents
- Manage the policy for the associate and retiree discounts
- Project management of new program implementation and system changes
- Prepare and present all materials for Benefits Administration CommitteeCore Competencies & Accomplishments:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field or related work experience
- 2-4 years prior benefits or retirement experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce results with tight deadlines and demands for information requiring thorough thought, research and analysis
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteWhat you get:
