We have a new and exciting opportunity for a commercially focused HR Business Partner passionate about Retail, to join our Americas Human Resources team.

Job description

POSITION PURPOSE

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide strategic, commercial and operational Human Resources advice to contribute to business performance and growth, focusing primarily on East Coast USA Office and Retail as well as Department Store business.

The role will partner with relevant stakeholders and use people analytics to coach, guide and advise on organisational design, talent management, employee relations, learning and development, reward and risk management. You will collaborate with the broader regional HR team to provide local insights to ensure Centres of Excellence (CoEs) are able to design programmes and activities that align to the regional business needs. The role will also develop, implement, manage and evaluate HR projects and activities across the portfolio.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Aesop's HR strategy and work in partnership with Head of HR, Commercial leaders to identify people implications of business plans
  • Continuously drive performance and employee engagement and inform business decisions through people analytics and insights.
  • To manage future-focused talent planning and succession and understand and drive the learning and development needs in the market.
  • Support Managers and employees to identify training, development and career advancement opportunities to support individual and business growth and Aesop's focus to being a learning organisation.
  • Promoting diversity & inclusion across the business, be the brand ambassador for employees and local communities
  • Manage employee relations matters, including potential underperformance, misconduct and grievances, being custodian of fair and transparent processes

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience within retail, customer service or hospitality industries

  • Demonstrable progressive experience as an HR Business Partner, having gained knowledge/experience in line with responsibilities listed above

  • Experience driving decisions, influencing through HR data analytics

  • Experience in workforce optimization, organisational development, talent management, leadership development, and performance management

  • Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels

  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding;

  • Demonstrable coaching skills and ability to influence stakeholders
