Job description

Overview

Purpose: The Human Resources Project Coordinator supports the HR Director primarily with the company's charitable donations programs, culture initiatives, and internal communication. Under the direction of the HR Director, this associate will manage day-to-day operations of culture and corporate responsibility initiatives including workflow, budgets, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the company's charitable program activities, serving as primary point of contact for external partners and internal leaders
  • In partnership with the HR Director, administer the company's charitable budget, providing reports of accountability based on charitable budget allocations
  • Provide monthly data for regulatory and finance reporting. Assist in analysis and reconciliation as required
  • Assist with the production of materials for the Be the Change Committee and Brand Marketing
  • Research best practices in corporate responsibility management and actively consult with the HR Director to make recommendations and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Assist with the coordination and production of corporate social responsibility programs and community events
  • Create initiatives that support company culture and events (i.e. company newsletters, and surveys)
  • Works closely with HR Director and Benefits team to plan and deliver culture, wellness, and associate engagement initiatives
  • Acts as an advocate to the brand to gather ideas
  • Responsible for coordinating, planning, marketing, and executing identified initiatives and events
  • Research, design, and coordinate implementation of company perk programs
  • Prepares documents and reports
  • Coordinates and prepares corporate-level communications
  • Reconcile/ code HR department invoices/expenses
  • Submit and track HR department contracts in Concur, and process reports for approval/payment
  • Operate as support and back-up for HR Operations (HR personnel / HRIS support)
  • Create HR related reports / analytic to support the HR function
  • Performs other rated duties as required and as assigned

Profile

Qualifications

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, Marketing Human Resources, or Communications or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience interfacing with internal and external partners
  • Requires solid and effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and creating executive level presentations
  • Must be passionate about workforce culture and wellness

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
  • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
