Job description

The I&D Events Manager is responsible for the ideation, leadership, and execution of all event initiatives and programming for the I&D COE including but not limited to: Employee Resource Group events, Speaker Series, Heritage Month events, lunch & learns. Responsibilities Develop I&D COE Events strategy and calendar Plan and coordinate events according to logistics requirements, target audience and objectives Prepare budgets for events and ensure adherence Negotiate with vendors and external speakers for contracts and pricing to maximize the benefits received Vet out potential speakers in partnership with Global Communications Ensure events are completed smoothly and assist as needed to resolve any issues Analyze the success of the events and provide suggestions to enhance future events Assist I&D COE with all details related to the Global ELC I&D Week and the I&D Global Summit and contribute to programming Source and recommend virtual meeting format to achieve desired meeting output, suggesting new technologies as appropriate Participate in the I&D Strategy process Q


3-4 years' experience in a corporate setting Proven experience as an Events Manager Strong knowledge of concepts and current issues of global and local relevance in Inclusion and Diversity including, but not limited to Unconscious Bias, Allyship Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills including the ability to influence across all levels of the organization including senior leaders Strategic mindset Microsoft Office - (PowerPoint and Excel proficient) and Virtual Platforms (Zoom, Skype, Teams) Minimum Education Level Bachelors or equivalent
