L'Oreal Group has aggressively embraced the digital era and has advanced many leading consumer-facing digital solutions across its business units. As we prepare to accelerate the rollout of our eCommerce sites to a new tech stack, we seek a highly motivated business analyst to work in a product setting in a dynamic environment.
The Senior Business Analyst, Scrum Master will work closely with technical teams, product owners, business stakeholders, L'Oréal's cross-functional teams, external IT partners, and third parties to deliver quality eCommerce solutions that meet business requirements.
As a Senior Business Analyst, the candidate with agile experience will be working with the delivery team, product owner and the business stakeholders to triage business requests and to clarify and capture the complete specification of a requirement. As a Scrum Master, the candidate will keep the team focused on delivering the planned activities in a sprint cycle, unblocking issues, and driving velocity improvement. This person will also facilitate iteration (sprint) planning and grooming, lead work within individual sprints. We are looking for someone who will work to increase the effectiveness of agile ways of working in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all aspects of project/product delivery is scoped, planned, tracked, and managed to completion
- Lead collaborative discussion, decision making, and problem solving
- Support team of scrum masters in their execution of scrum master responsibilities including delivery of sprint goals and iterative delivery of software solutions that deliver business value
- Implement Agile processes (Scrum) and procedures and ensure teams are working in the scrum/sprint model effectively
- Coordinate and encourage participation from all team members in scrum ceremonies (Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective
- Proactively eliminate barriers, coach team members on best practices and facilitate scrum ceremonies
- Lead cross-functional project meetings while documenting, prioritizing, scheduling, and launching project features
- Works closely with the product owner and scrum master to define the epics and user stories
- Documents the priorities and user stories for execution in JIRA
- Works closely with the QA lead to plan for testing activities and help articulate the functional capabilities of eCommerce sites and site features
- Works closely with the Architecture team to translate business requirements into functional designs and requirements matrix
- Leads customers through design and functional discussions, ensuring a thorough understanding of the customer's business processes and requirements
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on the functional capabilities of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
- Documents user guides and provides customer specific training on the implemented features

Profile

- Bachelor's Degree (degree or combination of equivalent education and experience)
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Ecommerce or related environment.
- Experience in cosmetics or related industry
- Demonstrated out-of-the-box thinking to analyze requirements from non-obvious angles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically in technical writing and functional specification documentation
- Strong analytical skills, work ethic, problem solving ability and over-all positive attitude
- Ability to step into any situation and lead the customer and 3rd party partners to the best solution based on needs and best practices
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing tasks
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML
- Proficient knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft tools
- General working knowledge of the following business functions or concepts or demonstrated willingness and ability to rapidly learn and apply knowledge:
- Ability to document technical (non-functional) requirements
- Prior experience working in an Omni-channel setting is a plus
- User experience design and usability
- Analytics and ecommerce metrics and tagging
- Merchandising, content management, site search optimization
- Order management, payment process, fraud, taxation, fulfillment, customer service
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a plus
- Certified Solution Strategist on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform is a plus
