Job description

We are searching for an experienced Product Manager for our Insights & Analytics team. You have an eye for business, with an affinity for business reporting, analysis, and working with business intelligence tools. You enjoy working with large amounts of data as well as the proven track record to guide a team through the work required to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypotheses and make recommendations. You're comfortable communicating and partnering with engineers & data analysts, as well as executive and other audiences.
As the Product Manager you'll take care of the development and execution of reporting and analytics across a focused area of the Nike business value stream to enable data driven business decisions that will drive performance and lead to the accomplishment of annual goals. You will also build and implement reporting tools and ad hoc analysis to pull out relevant data, provide trending reporting, and evaluate metrics to help the teams drive their business. Plan to manage a portfolio of consumers and related insights projects with multiple business partners on firm deadlines and use and champion data insights and Nike standard methodologies for development and deployment, including fast, iterative experimentation and measurement!
You will work cross functionally (Supply Chain, Procurement, Global Manufacturing, Nike Direct & others with business intelligence and analytics teams as well as engineering, and architecture teams. An effective Product Manager will be able to support shifting priorities across a diverse landscape and build subject matter expertise & knowledge of 'item level' data, insights & metrics.
Key Accountabilities:
- Gain knowledge & develop expertise in 'Item level' data products, metrics & dashboards
- Build, own & deliver Insights products & roadmaps
- Manage Insights backlog & prioritization for respective capability
- Own feature planning, delivery & recurring business demos
- Advocates for business needs by ensuring we are building the right functionality at the right time to deliver maximum value through Agile ceremonies with team & Scrum Master
- Bring visualization best practices & ease of use to all dashboards & reports
- Query datasets from various data sources and perform ad-hoc data analysis
- Establish partnerships with cross-functional enablers including data quality, data ingestion, and business team members
- As the Digital ID insights subject matter expert, partner with Nike capability and analytics teams to drive adoption of 'item level' insights


- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, MIS, analytics, other quantitative disciplines, or related fields
- 8+ years of relevant experience in building insights, visualization and adoption
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks & related toolsets
- A strong history of supporting cross functional insights product delivery
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills
- Understanding of data architecture, data taxonomy, and both structured and unstructured data
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with real-time data collection and processing
