Job description

If you're the one for this role, you'll be joining the Nike Technology organization in Logistics and Transportation. As Inbound Logistics Technology Product Manager at the 10th ranked Supply Chain company in the world, you will be filling a meaningful role in our overall organization. You will partner with key business leaders in Global and Geography teams to help define the Product Vision, Product roadmap, and Backlog. You will work with several technology and business partners internal and external to drive the overall product delivery and management to help meet Nike's needs to serve its consumer flexibly and speed at scale. You will also work with and lead the Inbound Logistics vendors who provide and develop capabilities to meet Nike's Inbound Logistics Visibility needs.
As our Inbound Logistics Product Manager, you'll bring the following:
Product manager expertise:
- Facilitate and lead the product roadmap and prioritization process with business partners and cross-functional domains
- Influence and lead the development of a tech platform foundation
- Define features, resolve success criteria and ensure the solutions crafted will deliver the encouraged benefits
- Ensure partners clearly understand the scope that is being delivered or the intent that is planned
- Clearly communicate to Agile Team a clear set of priorities and objectives
- Ensure features are appropriately prioritized for the Agile Team and be an advocate for these features with partners
Delivering solutions:
- Lead the team's Backlog and Roadmap
- Facilitate process mapping, gap analysis, data flow to help assess business implications of feature, tool, or platform
- Proactively handle the health of the Inbound Product through Architectural considerations and roadmaps, management of production support issues and system defects, and ownership over test plans to ensure any changes released within the product are sufficiently tested
- Support Technology, Architecture and Engineering teams internally for future Technology Enabler work and to continuously reduce technical debt for the Product
- Be an active participant and support PI Planning processes and help define release strategies and the roadmaps for each Program Increment
Budget management:
- Partner with the Solution Director to handle Product Epic/Feature delivery within established lean budget
- Improve estimates by ensuring clarity of context and intent of Features and Enablers
- Sequence work by prioritizing the right next job with the greatest economic benefit in the Program backlog
Other critical requirements:
- Strong expertise and knowledge of Nike's existing Inbound business process
- Solid understanding and experience of Nike's current technology ecosystem and capabilities
- Strong Leadership identity
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Strong technology background
- Strong Experience in Logistics and Transportation in a large sophisticated environment
- Strong expertise in leading through ambiguity and working in cross-functional environment

Profile

We're looking for a strong Technology leader in Logistics and Transportation Management, someone who had these experiences and clearly demonstrated these skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area
- A minimum of 8 years directly relevant work experience in Technology leadership roles with growing responsibility.
- Experience working as a Lead on multiple projects and business functions
- Excellent analytical abilities to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, detailed and easy-to-read functional documents
- Strong discernment to quickly learn new business processes and understand how IT needs to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals
- Proven track record to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Flexible, ability to deal with ambiguity, and a demonstrated desire for continuous personal growth
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to empower and mentor others within the team
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical IT teams
