Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are searching for a Lead Project Manager to support Nike HR's strategic programs! Collaborating with cross-functional program & project teams, we operate as a central HR team, providing management and oversight to various HR programs across the globe. We develop and integrate plans and manage timelines, budgets, and dependencies across various initiatives. We need someone who will be responsible for the execution of large scale, global HR implementations for Nike. You will develop and execute programs designed to optimize business results and align closely with longer-term goals/objectives across HR and Nike.
We are in need of a passionate teammate who has a high tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work well with and influence a large variety of personalities at all levels of business!
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
This role will manage work across the four HR pillars: Teammate Experience, Meaningful Growth and Development, Culture of belonging and HR Modernization; in addition to supporting other strategic priorities. Flexibility in this role is key and you may be asked to flex time into other functions from time to time.
You will build program and project plans, manage cross-functional dependencies, mitigate risks, handle financials, and engage with collaborators on various teams. You will play a meaningful role in ensuring strategic program objectives are being met and provide oversight across project-level risks and issues. Some days your focus will be on driving synergies within and across programs and other days your focus will be diving deep into specific initiatives.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Director of Global HR Programs and PMO. You will be working with team members across the global HR eco-system, the HR Program and Change Management Offices, HR Technology, external consultants, Strategy & Planning, Finance and Center of Excellence subject matter experts, to own the end-to-end life cycle of program delivery. You will also engage with leadership across HR and related functions.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or related field or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- MBA preferred
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in program or complex project management
- Program/Project Management experience balancing multiple projects while maintaining keen attention to detail and executing project workbacks, timelines, and budgets
- Experience with project planning tools, such as, Smartsheet, Airtable, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Familiarity with the Agile/Scaled Agile development approach
- Capability to build and maintain cross-functional and cross-regional networks with internal and external resources, lead a cross-functional team of leaders and peers and navigate complex organizational structures to deliver business results
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to gather relevant data and information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, and deliver presentations to senior leadership and external leaders
- Strong project management, process, and interpersonal skills, including leading and prioritizing multiple responsibilities to achieve strategic objectives
Preferred:
- Human Resources-related experience a plus
- Global implementation experience a plus
- PMP certification is a plus
