About the RoleThe Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading all campus Maintenance Supervisors and will oversee the function for all facilities within our Distribution Center.
This leader will support campus construction projects by acting as local coordinator for general contractors and Divisional Engineering Project Manager. They will oversee maintenance of campus equipment to maximize product warranties and establish preventative maintenance programs to maximize reliability.What You'll Do
- Oversee grounds and facility maintenance for the campus by identifying and coordinating necessary improvements, such as painting, landscaping, paving, janitorial work, etc.
- Responsible for managing the bid process for campus services and leverage the purchasing power across the campus to achieve economies of scale.
- Ensure parts purchases and services fall within budget guidelines.
- Audit CMMS system and physical inventories to ensure proper accountability for parts expenses.
- Partner with Engineering to test and assess new technologies.Who You Are
- 5-7 years Maintenance experience in a supervisory role
- Contract negotiation and project management experience
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to review data/processes and independently determine/implement solutions while driving distribution practices
- Ability to build and sustain culture through the collaboration with team and/or business partners
- Understanding of Financial and Business Acumen to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results
- Proficiency in performance metrics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
