Job description

The Brand Manager acts as category champion to market and promote existing products as well as launch new programs. Responsible for supporting the day to day execution of new product launches, from initial global concept and business case proposal to final program delivery. The ABM also supports global marketing activities including go-to-market plans, monitors the global portfolio performance and provides actionable recommendations to improve and grow the category.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists on global category strategy and global product pipeline to identify opportunities that will successfully meet the growth objectives for the brand
- Serve as category expert through ongoing analysis, consumer insights, industry trends, and knowledge of category dynamics and competition
- Identify white space opportunities based on findings from consumer insights, social listening, CRM data and insights from other industries
- Conduct market and consumer insights research to build business case for new launch concepts
- Prepare creative briefs for all programs (including design, copy, packaging and PDP assets) and coordinate communication with creative team
- Collaborate in development of product marketing strategy including category architecture, product launch process and go-to-market strategy
- Manage strong partnerships with OPD/NPD and other cross functional partners including Packaging, Creative, Copy, PR, Education to ensure on time execution
- Manage global product assortment and annual line edit documents
- Collect and analyze key market, category and competitive performance and new launches, and share relevant best practices
- Assist with development of 360 go-to-market strategies and tactics to support new launches and existing core products
- Develop annual sampling strategy to help drive awareness and trial of priority sub-categories and hero products
- Conduct annual pricing analysis and recommend new launch price positioning and price increases
- Prepare presentation decks to support strategic planning and retailer presentations
- Prepare new launch forecast offerings for monthly global marketing meetings

- Bachelor's degree required, 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in cosmetics/beauty
- A passionate, energetic team-oriented individual with strong project management, analytical, interpersonal and creative skills
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- A strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback
- Must be organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
- Ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams in a fast moving/changing environment
- Ability to build, foster, and nurture strong relationships and gain the trust and respect of cross-functional teams stakeholders
