We are looking for a Manager, Budget Planning - Marketing to support the globally centralized marketing budget. In this role, he/she will directly manage specific budgets within the larger central picture, perform analytics and act as a liaison between marketing and finance. The ideal candidate should be an analytical self-starter, eager to join a fast-paced environment with a strong financial background.
- Manage and support several budgets within the larger Central Marketing budget reflect current spend and tracking of expenses
- Lead monthly budget meetings with several budget owners, with the help of the Senior Manager and Utilize the PO System and other internal financial reporting to stay-up-to date
- Identify and problem-solve for over-budget or under-budget projects regularly; challenge spend allocation by providing financial insights and recommendations proactively
- Support budget forecasting and assist in the preparation all marketing budget presentations, including the Board Presentation
- Manage year end budget processes, including marketing accruals or designated budgets, provide insight into year-end results based on information received and assist in relevant financial communication and transparency by providing reporting and analysis to key stakeholders
- Work cross-functionally to manage and consolidate all pertinent budget information, typically in Euros and enhance existing processes and reporting by understanding global marketing team needs
- Provide onboarding training to new budget hires across the global marketing team as well as refreshers for any stakeholders when necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field)
- 5+ years' experience in accounting, finance and/or related role
- Experience in a retail and/or marketing related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial systems such as SAP and/or HFM
- Ability to work cross functionally utilizing effective written and verbal communication skills
- 5% domestic and international travel may be required

Profile
- 5+ years' experience in accounting, finance and/or related role
