Job description

The Manager, CRM & Digital Platform will focus on the development of the brand digital strategy on e-retail platforms & on database management/enrichment through CRM/DDX journeys. This position will focus on website optimizations, launching new functionality and personalization journeys, in collaboration with the Division Digital team, with the goal to optimize the website experience and gather rich customer data. This key role is responsible for production of owned digital platform initiatives on BIolage.com as well as supporting our experience on our professional distributor saloncentric.com.
CRM/DDX, Data & Analytics
- Leverages analytics tools to monitor and develop customer journeys across all digital owned platforms and provides recommendations on how to improve the customer experience
- Partner with PPD digital teams, particularly DDX team, and Saloncentric.com team to establish DDX/data goals & create customer journeys to grow & enrich customer database (consumer & pro)
- Grows subscriber base by generating unique/personalized content that is aligned with their needs and interests and manages leads generated by trade partners
- Manages all email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends to support saloncentric, cosmoprof and all other partners
- Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)
- Develops a working knowledge of exact target and provides assistance with email execution (
- Partners with education & marketing to build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, techniques, trends, how-to's, etc.).
- Optimizes content for search engines and lead generation
- Builds ddm use cases across all brand priorities
- Creates ddm, crm and content calendars to support all requests
- Manages all ddm, crm, data and digital consumer media analytics
Website/Mobile Maintenance of Biolage.com and Support of SalonCentric.com
- Conducts updates to all content, in partnership with Marketing, Education, Sales
- Manages and creates personalization campaigns in partnership with PPD Digital Teams
- Partners with internal creative resources to ensure content are properly adapted for multiple formats. (Web & Mobile)
- Manages updates for new launches (product pages, techniques, tips & tools, videos, etc.)
- Conducts A/B tests of site functionality, content and design in order to improve customer engagement and time spent on site
- Proactively scopes and presents new ideas to improve our website experience for prospects, leads, and customers
- Provides thought leadership to help improve all key performance metrics for web and mobile platforms
- Owns roadmap development for web and mobile platforms
- Crafts landing pages and lead generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.
- Keeps current on the latest industry trends and participate in brainstorming sessions
- Implements web solutions/projects/enhancements by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to team members' concerns; coordinating requirements with interested departments.
- Assures quality web solutions by developing and completing test plans; maintaining project and technical documentation
- Provides project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Manages briefing of all campaigns in partnership with internal and external stakeholders including marketing, sales and education
