Job description

Section 1: General Information
Job Title: Manager/Director - DigitalFLSA: ExemptFunction: DigitalSupervisor Title: AVP – MarketingLocation: New York, NY
Section 2: Job SummaryResponsible for the content strategy and social calendar for my category. Also helps to define the brief for the digital elements needed for all consumer and pro touchpoints (social, salon windows, website, e retail, pack shots, media banners A+ ecommerce etc. for my category launches. Accountable to the master ICC calendar to ensure all content needs are met for my category and evergreen needs.
- Guide and direct shoot calendar
- Work with the cross-functional team pod members to deliver assets to support all digital activation
- Own social media publishing calendar
- Guide social community managers on management of community and publishing content
- Own the SEO/authored content strategy and coordinate with Digital Innovation on website calendar planning, page publishing, and SEO opportunities
- Help POD use digital intelligence in support of professional and consumer engagement
- Define the overall launch digital strategy
- Develop campaign strategies in support of my category and share with countries for execution
- Expert in use of social tools to establish and measure KPIs and ensure continuous reporting on progress and optimization of strategic social initiatives
Section 3: Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a communications, online, or digital/marketing media role
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong understanding and interest in digital and communication industry
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Programs
- Detail-oriented; ability to work on complex digital projects with multiple touch-points and integrations
- Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms
- Entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven thinker, who thrives in an environment where new ideas are championed
- Knowledge of CMO and brand priorities & strategy
- Understanding of social influencers and community management
- Platform requirements and best practices
- Possesses key growth drivers and competitive levers
Section 4: Judgment and Decision MakingThe incumbent must exercise discretion and independent judgment on all tasks and must be able to work independently and make decisions when needed. Must be able to work autonomously and feel comfortable taking on large responsibilities. It is important he/she will use discretion on when to involve management in the day to day matters. Moderate supervision or approval may be required for events and project work requiring analysis. For management and organization of the floor and meetings, no supervision is required.

Section 6: Financial ScopeThis position does not directly manage a budget but should have capability to do so if required. Interacts with Finance as needed to resolve discrepancies or gain approvals. Will process purchase orders when necessary
