WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Manager, Digital Marketing in North America is a Digital Marketing professional with a deep understanding of the consumer, their lifestyle, how they engage/shop online, and how Converse can best serve them! You will be part of an authoritative team of marketers who work x-functionally to activate marketing campaigns and programs that deliver Brand and Business results in North America and our key cities, connecting to our consumers with purpose, innovation, and tales that position Converse as a multi facet, creative lifestyle brand. The ideal candidate is a go-getter, curious and eager to innovate, to test & fail and learn & evolve.
You value the importance of consumer insights and data, and appreciate the creative process - thinking through how we tell information across channels. You will help your teams make better informed decisions as it pertains to user experience, engagement, content, and channel capabilities. You will have a strong understanding of the constantly evolving digital and paid media direct-to-consumer channels. You are a leader with vision, a digital evangelist, strategic problem solver. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The Manager, Digital Marketing works as part of the consumer-focused digital marketing offense at Converse and is a strategic leader in crafting the strategy and orchestration to reach our audiences. You are with a x-functional Squad offense that amplifies the brand via story-telling, product launches, utmost digital experiences. Be responsible for the North American strategy and activation to serve our NOW and reach our NEXT consumers while seeding the future.
You will be responsible for crafting and driving seasonal plans that connect to and grow NA's consumer base, build out our digital ecosystem, and transform Converse into a sophisticated, consumer-focused digital brand. You will bring best-in-class brand and commerce experiences to life for the consumer, working as part of Consumer Segment Squads and part of the Integrated Digital Marketing team. You also have the flexibility and passions that stretch across consumer segments, identifying strategic crossover opportunities and areas that need support.
First and foremost, be a consumer advocate - obsessing how we come to life across channels to best serve our audiences, whether they're the NOW, NEXT or future.
- In response to the Brand's seasonal brief, craft and deliver a Seasonal Digital Go-To-Market plan that creates demand for the brand and the business, centered on consumer engagement and insights and aligned with brand & business priorities with clear metrics.
- You will own the digital journeys across our 13-week season for a consumer segment, helping to define the integrated weekly ROS, ensuring constant alignment across Digital touchpoints across paid, owned, earned and partners.
- Evolve Converse's online ecosystem by delivering marketing plans that use capabilities in an innovative way to drive best in class experiences, with a focus on geo-led social handles, emerging platforms, and collaborate with major media partners that drive cultural connection with our consumer to cut through the noise.
- Be a 360-media champion, able to create briefs to agencies, think full-funnel, establish links with key partners, and collaborate with other Brand Marketing leads on the landscape.
- Be an advocate for pushing our digital story-telling forward, own creative and social briefs to internal and external partners that deliver an enhanced consumer journey.
- Enthusiastically lead and maintain the weekly view across channels for key stories. Partner with wider Geo Brand Management to integrate digital journeys into the full-marketplace view for the season.
- Act as an integrator, thought partner, and resource for the Consumer Segment you represent and the Brand and Business Leads.
- Drive the reporting cadence with the integrated team, delivering insightful campaign statuses and QBRs.
- Build and maintain digital marketing budget aligned with seasonal business objectives and reports on actual, budgeted and forecasted projections on a regular weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Serve as an integral team member and a leader of your Consumer Squad, North America Brand Marketing team, the Converse Develop team, and overall Brand Marketing org to lead and implement an accelerated digital offense.
To drive the daily consumer segment marketing offense, you will work cross-functionally with key partners across Brand Management, Performance Marketing, Retail Brand, Brand Creative, Global Social, CRM, Direct, Merchandise, and Data Science. You'll also partner closely with Global Social and Lead teams. This role will require consistent collaboration, partnership and consensus across the enterprise.
To continuously elevate our work and stay informed on digital trends, you will form relationships with external media/platform partners and agencies, crafting relationships that extend our internal team.
In this role you will provide peer mentorship and report into the Digital Marketing Director being responsible for the Fashion-inspired/Purpose Consumer Segment.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- 5-8 years of Digital/Online Marketing experience at an agency or brand.
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategy and tactics across key channels (both paid and owned).
- Proven track record of leading and implementing cohort based, multi-channel marketing strategies, ideally for Gen Z!
- Ability to identify the metrics to drive success, measure metrics, socialize understanding and drive initiatives to completion.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and planning skills; shown success in influencing & communicating ideas to various partners.
- Experience growing in a fast-paced, high growth environment!
- Forward-thinking and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs.

- Proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
