Job description

Candidates must be located in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago or NYC, or open to relocation if not already residing in one of these cities. This is a hybrid role (combination of remote and in office work).The Integrated Media Strategy team is responsible for partnering with internal brand and channel teams, and external agencies to develop full funnel paid media strategies across Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and Trunk Club across the US and CAN. The customer is at the center of everything we do and our goal is to reach and engage target audiences through both online and offline channels, while maintaining efficiency and driving sales. We work closely with cross-functional teams such as Loyalty and CRM. We are media experts who are curious and passionate about driving change. We are rooted in analytics and are constantly learning about our customers in order to effectively reach them.
A day in the life....
- Maintain ownership and accountability of all Nordstrom Rack paid media, driving optimal performance to support revenue and/or customer goals (acquisition and retention) for both online and in-store
- Work alongside team to develop full funnel media strategies, KPIs and measurement plans across acquisition, awareness, and retention efforts locally and nationally (US + CAN) across all paid channels (online + offline)
- Leverage data to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly spend and revenue streams for all paid media channels
- Manage media budgets across numerous campaigns, finding ways to spend more efficiently across paid media
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize customer experience across business units and/or media channels
- Closely partner with external agencies and internal brand and channel teams on strategy development, execution, and performance evaluation
- Project manage media priorities and tasks, ensuring timely coordination between brand, creative, agency and channel teams
- Align with key stakeholders on the development of test plans that will help achieve business objectives
- Support the development of in-depth analysis and reporting for digital media
- Provide subject matter expertise to champion digital media best practices, educate marketing leaders on media optimization, and drive innovation and continued diversification of media channels


- 6-8 years of experience in a paid media role inclusive of strategy and execution across online and offline channels
- In-depth knowledge of paid media channels and how they work together; including but not limited to Paid Social, Affiliates, SEM, OOH, TV, Print, OTT, Display, etc.
- You have a full understanding of the marketing funnel enabling you to outline attainable goals and campaign KPIs, and derive actionable insights from performance
- You're a master of efficiency and quality
- You're a team player and have experience leading a team
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- You're known for your attention to detail
- Ability to deliver on multiple projects with firm deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to report business updates to Executive Leadership
- Ability to identify new ways to leverage online media to advertise and generate sales and/or new customers
- Outstanding proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; working knowledge of Tableau is a plus
