Job description

The Manager, Ecommerce is responsible for driving the performance and merchandising strategy of the total category to deliver sales and gross margin objectives. Strategies will be supported by analysis of metrics and current market trends thereby delivering and executing actionable insights, analyses and recommendations for both short and long term strategies for the ecommerce business.

You Also Have:

?BA/BS Degree

?3-5 years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, and/or buying with 1+ years managerial experience

?Familiarity with site analytics tools (e.g., Omniture, Google Analytics, Coremetrics) and with content management tools

?Technical aptitude with web-based tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

?Must demonstrate business acumen and analytical skills

?Have an understanding of and passion for digital and luxury retail landscape

?Ability to multitask and achieve deadlines in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner

As The Manager, E-Commerce You Will:

Business Strategy

?Support DVP to achieve the sales and margin plans of the product category through analysis and development of targeted action plans and partnership with buying and planning teams

?Lead strategy for product arrays including assortment guidelines, content linking, and product boosting and navigational changes.

?Partner with the Digital Content team to help support the conceptualization, prioritization and calendarization of digital content/editorial and email strategy

?Measure and monitor content and digital marketing effectiveness, and communicate how the strategies are contributing to business goals.

Reporting & Analysis

?Tracks and analyzes sales and inventory performance and executes on findings to improve results.

?Build and refine quarterly taxonomy strategy

?Interpret and react to metrics to help drive site content strategies.

?Analyze the purchase and conversion funnel to better optimize the customer journey

?Analyze site logistic reports, inclusive of the Not-On-Site report, and partner with merchandising operation teams to optimize business and resolve issues

?Prepares materials for regular business meetings, monthly open-to-buy, and seasonal category strategy. Materials include sales results, inventory, site analytics, SKU information, upcoming launches and promotions, corrective actions, etc.

Team Collaboration

?Work closely with digital content team to populate creative briefs for weekly content, editorial and email

?Collaborates with merchants, planners, marketing, social, and HBC Digital to execute business strategies.

?Serve as business lead for the ownership and execution of digital projects
