Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Finance Data Governance Manager, you will lead the governance processes around finance data and assist in shaping the Finance Data Governance program for NIKE! You are passionate about running and coaching a team and have a strong appreciation for working with data, quality, compliance, and controls. You will use your knowledge and experience to lead the development and maintenance of effective finance data governance processes for NIKE's entire finance data and system landscape and will have an opportunity to partner with associates across the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will run and coach a team of two in the development of data governance strategies and will lead the lifecycle of data governance processes associated with finance data, key performance indicators, and finance term alignment. You will assist in the creation of data quality monitoring processes and will be instrumental in the creation and maintenance of policy documentation.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to NIKE's Finance Data Governance Director. You will work closely with the larger Finance Business Intelligence team. You will also partner with teams from the broader Finance organization as well as cross-functional teams while furthering data governance initiatives.

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of work experience in Finance, Data Governance, Information Management or a related function
- Experience managing, leading, and coaching a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, risks, and recommendations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, partners, cross functional business leaders, and peers
- Excellent project management skills and experience leading mid-large cross-functional projects
- Strong appreciation for working with data, quality, compliance and controls
- High standards for attention to detail and process orientation
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
- Strong desire to learn and continuously improve
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite
