Job description

The Manager, Global eCommerce will support and manage the Global Online business. This person will be the key point of contact for the Online regionals and will be responsible for driving global sales growth across brand sites, retailer sites and 3PPs. The Manager will drive online business reviews with the markets, be responsible for understanding the Global P&L, manage the global online reporting dashboard, hold workshops with the regionals/affiliates to better understand their A&P spends, and lead the global rollout of loyalty. Deep dive analytics will be done on an ongoing basis and leveraged across all countries where Estee Lauder has an online presence in order to drive and increase sales and NOP. In continually optimizing the ecommerce experience (mobile and desktop), this person will adhere to best practices in producing content (assets, copy, product images) and developing marketing programs to improve KPIs. Other key responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of consistent branded content and assets that adhere to the Estee Lauder brand pillars and ELC Online strategy while meeting the needs of the markets.

Key Responsibilities

Drive global sales growth on brand sites and retailer sites by developing and sharing best practices and global playbooks with regions and affiliates.
  • Support and lead monthly business reviews with each region and guide the regionals in best practices to further drive their businesses

  • Partner with Corporate Online team and Global Copy team to implement SEO tactics on brand site

  • Global Loyalty Responsibilities

    • Educate and guide markets on loyalty tactics, launch activities, and ongoing optimizations to drive acquisition and retention and grow CRM tactics

    • Partner with markets and agency on program analyses

    • Maintain a detailed understanding of the Brand's Global Launch Calendars, including market-specific launches, promotions and programs and manage online assets to support global programs.
    • Keep internal tracking documents of all business and marketing requests and progress for all markets.

    • Oversee the development of global seasonal launch assets. Gather and understand all Regional/Market site asset requirements in advance of each season to then translate into comprehensive Creative briefs.

    • 5+ years experience

    • 2 to 4 years related web marketing/ecommerce business experience. College degree required.

    • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; Strong organizational skills; Pro-active problem solving abilities.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Must be a brand advocate and team player.

    • Highly proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Aptitude for working with Internet tools (i.e. web-based reports, databases and various multimedia technologies).

    • Thorough understanding of website metrics, data analysis, and reporting tools.
