PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVES: Manage and develop all aspects of the marketing and business plans for: the Estee Lauder Prestige Fragrance segment that includes: Beautiful, Bronze Goddess Classics and House of Estee and select generic team projects. Initiate & execute programs to support these strategies Partner with Executive Director in development of Global Marketing objectives, strategies and 3- year innovation pipeline, considering strategic fit with Brand. Drive Beautiful Magnolia & sustain core Beautiful Expand Bronze Goddess into new segments: Self Tan, In-Sun while driving innovation against our bronzer & highlighter subsegments Develop below the line plans to speak about pleasures in a new way on .com Drive Sustainability & Value Analysis initiatives across all of our prestige fragrance by FY25 Analyze the business, competition, trends and develop well-defined Marketing programs for brands within area of responsibility to pre-empt competition and gain market share. Maximize newness, boost potential of existing franchises, address local relevancy and build long term brand equity. Manage all aspects of the marketing plans and development to drive the fragrance category communications with cross-functional partners in Corporate Fragrance and Make-up Product Development, Consumer Insights, Education, Special Events, Creative (Package Design, Copy, Merchandising, Store Design, Advertising, Digital), Public Relations, Media Planning, Internet and CRM. Develop privileged communications with specific regions, becoming a regional point person/expert of the regional fragrance environment (North America, UK and Travel Retail). ACCOUNTABILITIES: Global Brand Development Manage and develop program conception and development, from concept to launch, under supervision of the Executive Director, partnering and collaborating closely with all cross-functional teams. Propose with Executive Director marketing concepts, product positioning, packaging, advertising, merchandising and pricing recommendations. Partner with Global Business Planning to identify internal and competitive benchmarks, ensure market forecasts are in line with Global Marketing recommendation. Partner with Executive Director and Global Pricing Group to conduct competitive pricing analyses in reference markets. Closely manage cost of goods working closely with Finance, Purchasing, Procurement and the Global Pricing Group to accurately project and maintain cost of goods from marketing target to final costs. Work with all support departments with the help of Global Supply Chain to ensure that development timelines and targets are met for saleables and collaterals. Participate in bi-monthly development meetings discussions (i.e. PPD: Product, Packaging Design Meetings) for respective programs. Responsible for preparing all paperwork to initiate new projects (includes but not limited to Concept & Program Briefs, CPMS work requests, Advertising and Creative Briefs to cross-functional teams (New Launch Management, Product Development, Package Design, Merchandising, Advertising, Education, Special Events, PR/Communications, Digital, etc .) Develop and track forecast offerings, marketing bulletins and other marketing website postings for new programs. Monitors markets feedback to ensure program viability. Work closely with regional partners to maximize completion and cohesiveness of marketing programs ensuring proper execution / implementation in the various markets. Monitor the program pay off and market performance vs objectives; identifies product need gaps and opportunities; issues corrective action plans to improve brand performance and quality of execution when needed. Prepare regular business analyses including category and competitive reviews to monitor and track brand development, identify successful competitive strategies in the market place. Remain knowledgeable of up and coming trends and consumer insights/tastes in order to determine how they can apply to the brand and create new opportunities. Help to prepare yearly trend presentations. Play an active role in developing presentation and backup material for various brand presentations and meetings (i.e. global & regional roundtables ...) Fragrance Category Responsibilities (all Brands) Act as Department Point-Person as liaison for Creative and Merchandising teams Prepare briefs, support materials, competitive review, paperwork and Presentation Book for Fragrance Department presentations/Creative Turnovers. Achieve regional expertise for North America, UK and Travel Retail Develop a working knowledge of regional sales channels, retail and competitive landscape, consumer behaviors and purchase patterns, cultures, etc. to build a global understanding of the fragrance universe. Liaise regularly with regional marketing teams to ensure programs meet regional/market needs; provide timely information on programs; act as a key, day-to-day contact to ensure objectives are being met for launches. Lead Education/Online Initiatives for the EL Prestige Fragrance business.
Candidate Profile: Strong project management skills. Must be proactive and a self-starter Strong quantitative & analytical skills, comfortable in dealing with numbers to ensure financial targets are met; ability to connect dots and draw conclusions. A team player who likes to work in dynamic environment, highly flexible to handle changing priorities and collaborate with various profiles and personalities. Ability to "sell" her/his briefs and programs confidently with great enthusiasm, build and foster smooth and fruitful relationships with cross-functional and affiliate teams. High level of interest for the global business environment. Ability to listen, evaluate and integrate local concerns and special requests, as well as motivate regional counterparts in creating excitement around new programs. High level of interest/affinity with Fragrance category. Creative, high level of curiosity, sense of luxury. Highly organized to ensure all deliverables are met. A fact checker; precise; Attention to detail is critical. Excellent presentation and writing skills. QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate College degree 4 years+ relevant work experience in Project Management, Applied or Global Marketing, Trade Marketing preferably in FMCG company, beauty industry. Knowledge of core marketing principles Proficiency utilizing all Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
