Manager, Global Marketing (Tory Burch)

Job description

Assist in the definition of the global brand strategy and marketing plans to support the growth trajectory.
Be able to identify global trends, track and analyze global launches and have an awareness of the nuances of the fragrance category in key markets
Be able identify opportunities that will successfully meet the growth objectives and goals
Oversee the new product launch strategies and strategic activations of existing products for the Tory Burch brand in order to maximize growth potential and drive long term profitability
Manage product portfolio including overseeing integrated alignment and execution of SKU discontinuations and productivity
Continuously partner with US and International and with internal teams to share updates and gather input on global marketing projects
Measure progress of global sales results against category and brand objectives
Oversee creative briefs for packaging and creative assets aligned with global and local campaign needs
Partner with VP and Fragrance houses to develop 3-year innovation plan identifying portfolio gaps and emerging consumer trends, to deliver upon category financial goals
Develop a targeted sampling strategy and price points for all new launches in the Fragrance category
Conduct annual pricing assessments to recommend price increases.
Oversee the COGs targets of new products and partner with key commercial markets to appropriately price products and establish price/value relationship that support overall profit goals
Provide US and International with the necessary tools and launch support, including guidelines for markets to forecast new launches and limited editions in partnership with operations team, launch strategy decks, retailer presentations, marketing updates, marketing plans. Ensure smooth and efficient communication with regions.
Develop strategic annual marketing strategies and tactics ensuring category goals are achieved.

Internal cross functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Visual Merch, Creative, Communications, Packaging, etc
External agencies - digital, production, package design and creative

Key Markets
Qualifications & Competencies
Bachelor's degree required, MBA strongly preferred
6-8 years of marketing/beauty brand management experience
In-depth industry knowledge
Strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback
Ability to move between quantitative analytics and marketing creativity
Ability to think strategic and tactically in different situations
Must be organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
Team oriented with ability to interact with partners across organization at all levels
Ability to show initiative to drive results and solve problems and always be counted on to follow-through.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to lead and develop direct reports
Familiarity working with global information databases such as NPD, Datamonitor, Euromonitor, and Mintel
Proficient skill with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
