Job description

PRINCIPLE OBJECTIVE:

Work with Director, Assistant Manager and Associate to develop & execute strategic, integrated & consumer-centric go-to-market promotional programs for HTMs-Holiday and Occasions with 360 campaign activation.

Holiday and Occasions:

  • Work with Director to develop innovative promotional programs for HTMs (Holiday, Lunar New Year, Mother's Day, etc.) with strong storytelling, and a complete 360 activation to recruit new consumers and protect our loyal consumers.

  • Attend meetings with cross functional partners on defining the development and strategy of holiday and occasions and define KPI's for success.

  • Drive and track program timelines to meet all dates for fast pace programs; these are fast pace programs that are set on turbo tracks. Update weekly new NPL portal with these milestones for Senior Management review.

  • Attend and conduct bi-weekly PPD meetings (with Director and Assistant Manager) with all cross functions in a clear and direct way to keep programs on track; Prior to bi-weekly meetings, ensure all PPD notes are accurately updated.

  • Have a digital first mindset in creation of all programs and campaign planning. Have complete knowledge in social media and be an active user to have an understanding of what is needed to win in promotions

  • Oversee the Holiday Collateral Program (to be managed by the Assistant Manager). Ensure new elements are added to enhance the programs for holiday and year-round. Work with Design, Corporate Print Purchasing and Visual Merchandising to track program development and progress, accurate market information is included in forecast offering to the markets.

  • Responsible for preparing and entering the following programs in RUNWAY: Blockbuster, Holiday Fragrance sets, and Holiday Makeup sets.

  • Consistently executes programs on time, ensuring we meet all key milestone development dates of all fragrance and makeup timetables.

  • Work with Director to develop compelling makeup set mixes for Holiday - analyzing competitive trends, storytelling opportunities, 360 activation opportunities to determine best concept and building cost and pricing strategy to align with concept.

  • Work with Packaging and Design on brainstorming breakthrough packaging, component, and vehicle ideas. Work closely throughout development process and feasibility process. Attend weekly meeting with Director, Packaging, and design.

  • Work with Director and team in creating Forecast Offerings for Holiday and Occasions (LNY, MDAY, ETC) and posting in GMW. Provide affiliates with accurate, timely information and updates regarding all aspects of the program.

  • Partner with Director to work with Product Development & Global Marketing to choose shades for all programs based on competitive trends and proposed program story.

  • Oversee Creative Turnover materials each season (to be managed by Assistant Manager & Associate) and present to Creative support groups.

  • Coordinate copy sheet efforts for Blockbuster, Holiday Fragrance & Makeup sets, LNY - Create initial copy sheets and issue to copy department. Partner with copy to develop new names for sets each year. Ensure copy is issued back to marketing on time. Issue all final copy to Team Center.

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving artwork for components, insert cards and secondary cartons in Team Center.

  • Oversee Associate - ensuring she is coordinating all comps for creative, coop turnover and meetings. Be a mentor and leader to help her learning and growth.

  • Work in preparation for Senior Management meetings and retailer presentations

  • Assist Director with special projects as needed.

Profile

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Marketing experience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects with a high level of detail.

  • Proficiency utilizing all Microsoft applications including: Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
