WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone who is experienced and passionate about building a vendor management office (VMO) to lead and support the long term relationship and performance of our technology vendors.
This role provides senior leadership to build technology vendor strategy that support business goals. This role will have enterprise wide impact and influence as technology vendors play a meaningful role in our overall success; builds collaborative partnership with technology VP leaders; work with key vendors to ensure quality, performance, collaboration, and cost containment through internal and external governance.
The candidate needs to demonstrate critical thinking, strategic approach, and in depth knowledge and experience in VMO and/or procurement space.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Leads vendor governance, oversight and performance strategy including trending and reporting KPI’s by establishing processes and controls to ensure contract negotiation are accurately planned and implemented in such a way to enhance value and minimize risk.
Meet budget expectations, resource projections and metrics needed to implement the strategic vision and tactical plans.
Build high performance teams that ensure alignment of individual and company goals.
Expense management function to promote standardization, controls and efficiencies for optimizing overall tech vendor spend.
Make decisions and provide recommendations that have a significant long-term impact on Nike. Develop cross functional relationships, implement vendor segmentation and rationalization strategy, and implement labor vendor strategy.
Responsible for Vendor Top to Top meeting planning and supporting materials.
Develop and implement vendor score carding, QBR’s and other performance measurements.

Profile
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
Bachelor's degree or Master's (preferred) or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
8 years relevant work experience
5-10 years of experience in Tech Vendor Management Office
Retail industry is a plus
Excellent written and oral communications skills. Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
*Remote Work Option - Open to remote work, except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $109,500 to $217,000. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
