The Manager, Mobile Marketing will be responsible for managing Ulta Beauty's mobile app acquisition and communication program partnering cross-functionally with loyalty, marketing and merchandising departments. The marketing program includes marketing channel management (e.g., push, SMS, paid download strategy), targeting segment strategy, and creative management. The Marketing Manager will own the end to end program development, including marketing planning, campaign execution, budget justification, and program improvements with the project management team. The marketing objective will be to generate online and retail sales, increase customer engagement and personalization, and build brand awareness for Ulta Beauty. The Mobile Marketing team is also responsible for overseeing transactional short codes, reporting on performance, and collaborating with internal stakeholders on channel improvements. This position will serve as the main point of contact for multiple internal and external teams working together to achieve mobile marketing objectives. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Build strategies to grow loyalty and drive repeat customers on our mobile channels (inclusive of Push & SMS notification) Create programs leveraging both acquisition and retention strategies Develop a marketing plan to grow the usage and adoption of our Ulta Beauty App in conjunction with cross functional partners Develop key performance indicators and benchmarks for the channel and campaigns Optimize Mobile campaigns through frequent testing and data analysis, documenting the results, sharing best practices, and forming recommendations for next steps Manage external partner relationships including contracts, billing, and performance Collaborate and build relationships between CRM, Loyalty, Creative, UX, IT, Merchant and Content teams as well as external partners Deliver quality experiences and promptly troubleshoot issues, resolve and communicate Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders on overall channel performance both verbally and in writing Participate in E-commerce planning meetings to understand guest centric marketing strategies, goals and objectives Develop process documentation, communicate changes and conduct training as needed Bring external knowledge in by engaging in industry conferences and with vendors in the industry to develop hypotheses for testing new innovative growth strategies Manage a team of 2-3 direct reports, overseeing project management and opportunities for development and growth Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with an emphasis in marketing/business Minimum of 5 years of prior mobile and CRM marketing experience required, preferably for a multichannel retail brand Have proven skills in highly targeted and customer-centric campaign development, management, and analysis Mobile-savvy; familiar with the unique stylistic requirements that make digital content successful Thinks strategically while staying on top of tactical execution; able to grasp complex business processes and maintain attention to detail Ability to coach individuals and demonstrates leadership skills Able to present ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives Quantitative skills, including Excel, data validation, reporting, analysis, and visualization Collaborative, responsive, self-motivated, driven, independent Highly organized and possesses excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to influence others Passion for testing, learning and making data-driven decisions a plus Microsoft Office proficiency COLORADO PAY RANGE At this time, Colorado residents are not eligible for this position. Profile
