Job description

Title: Brand Asset Manager
Division: PPD
Location: New York City
Job Summary: The Brand Asset Manager is responsible for supporting the PPD DMI (Redken, Matrix, and BIolage) Opera program, working across Creative, Digital, and Marketing functions to ensure successful use of the system and its ongoing integration into DMI processes.
Responsibilities:
Digital Asset Management
- Ensures that all digital assets are successfully uploaded into the DAM solution with accurate metadata
- Proficient in Creative processes, understanding delivery of assets as workflowed via Wrike system to ensure timely uploads to DAM
- Collaborates with all key stakeholders in the organization in a continuous improvement approach to ensure timely and correct delivery of assets via aligned timelines
- Manages the organization of folders in the DAM following best practices, performing audits and updates to folder structures as needed
IP Rights Management
- Supports the upload of contracts and entry of rights into the IP Rights management solution, including but not limited to model, photography, and music rights
- Develops IP Rights management materials such as the Model Rights Chart, outlining assets and their corresponding IP Rights, for distribution across teams as needed
Product Information Management
- Works across Marketing stakeholders to gather product data if needed for entry into PIM, or to support Marketing users in their usage of the PIM
- Monitors the quality of data entered and enriched in the PIM checking that completeness and quality are meeting the business rules defined and that data is being enriched in time
Program Support
- Supports the general knowledge sharing within DMI teams to train and onboard teams onto Opera ways of working
- Acts as a PIM/DAM super user within DMI, a knowledge expert and go-to person amongst teams
- Troubleshoots and opens tickets to address system issues as needed
- Supports general Opera system administration if needed (new users, changes to workflow, etc.)
- Participates in Opera process meetings and periodic reviews of scorecards to ensure success of the Opera program
- Maintains a high level of quality standards by performing maintenance and audits as needed, as well as associated issue management
Experience/Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years of digital asset management related experience
- Deep understanding of digital asset management systems and processes
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Highly autonomous and self-sufficient, with ability to gather information from new and different sources as needed
