Job description
Victoria's Secret Beauty is looking for a Manager of Product Safety to join the team! This role is accountable for executing the overall compliance strategies of clinical safety and efficacy testing programs that support high-complexity, high-volume launches. This person will serve as the subject matter expert for clinical study methodology and contract resource organizations (i.e. labs, vendors) relationship management in the U.S. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach will be critical for success in this role.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for safety and efficacy project execution across Victoria's Secret Beauty and PINK Beauty categories
Executes the end-to-end clinical testing process, including study monitoring and auditing of testing facilities to ensure compliance with good clinical practices, study design, and standard operating procedures
Ensures global suitability of product briefs and raw material safety and performance claim substantiations and reviews
Accountable for study protocol design, planning, and execution in collaboration with clinical management team
Analyzes study results and delivers study determinations and documentations with strong project management skills, providing clear and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders, as needed.
Serves as the subject matter expert on development of new testing methodologies and instrument capabilities to support product safety and efficacy assessment
Accountable for clinical resource organizations engagement and issue resolution: establishes and maintains business relationships with existing clinical resource organizations; monitors and audits organizations; supports the development of new clinical resource organization partnerships
Maintains budgets and cost negotiations with clinical resource organizations during protocol development
Accountable for meeting On Time & On Cost (OT&C) deliverables for all testing
Conducts post-market surveillance and cosmetic adverse-event monitoring; analyze and report findings
Establishes and maintains relationships with external industry trade expert committees
Provides mentoring within team and supports departmental outreach and education initiatives with cross-functional teams
Development of direct reports and/or contractor management
Profile
Minimum of 7-8 years' experience supporting clinical safety and efficacy information management and processes
Strong communication and organization skills; ability to flex communication style to different audiences
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple competing and changing priorities
Acute attention to detail and accuracy of work
Proficiency in Microsoft suite; experience with SAP a plus
