About the RoleThe Manager of Commercial Plan facilitates promotional marketing strategies for Gap Outlet's North America (US & Canada) markets across both Stores & Online channels, ensuring a product-proud, margin accretive marketing calendar across a variety of traffic-driving programs.What You'll DoThe Manager of Commercial Plan is an integral part of the Commercial Plan team and greater Gap Outlet cross-functional team. Commercial Plan and promotional marketing are major components of the Gap Outlet marketing plan that drives awareness, traffic and sales. This individual will work cross-functionally to help build out a strong quarterly marketing calendar as well as help manage the calendar in season, responding to business changes and needs with promotional marketing solutions. This role requires process orientation, competency in campaign or promo planning, a working knowledge of product/inventory management, financial acumen and the ability to pull together hindsight and data to tell a story that drives business decisions. The Manager of Commercial Plan will collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels across the organization to gain promo plan alignment, while drawing on multiple resources like historical data, current trends and competitive insight to help build a promotional plan that delivers on Gap Outlet business goals.
Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: meeting facilitation & recapping, executional problem solving, building & owning the quarterly promo testing agenda, forming and implementing promo marketing innovation, cross-functional hindsight ownership, recapping promo performance, business change management, promo process optimization, in-depth competitive analysis and tracking, Loyalty program integration and being the go-to for promo strategy & details to facilitate flawless execution.Who You AreThe ideal candidate is a problem solver and a self-starter who is tenacious, curious, resourceful, candid, patient and passionate about the intersection of promo, product, marketing and the customer.
