About the Role

The Banana Republic Factory Commercial Planning and Customer Marketing Team drives the strategic direction to acquire, retain and continuously engage our customer base. This role is primarily focused on customer acquisition, media (brand and performance) and our influencer strategy.

They will oversee the launch and execution of marketing initiatives, that must be integrated into the brand's commercial planning calendar and support Banana Republic Factory's overall marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate for this team must be collaborative, have strong communication and influencing skills, the ability to analyze performance brand/media data and customer acquisition channels, while being able to manage multiple marketing campaigns at any given time.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, implement, and execute successful marketing programs to acquire and engage new customers in innovate ways that ultimately drives continuous topline revenue to our already rapidly growing brand
  • Help drive our brand media strategy across our existing omni channel platforms, while recommending/testing additional growing channels based on macro trends
  • Be our key external contact for media agencies, kicking off seasonal briefs and pivoting to make in season changes where needed while also acting as the internal lead for our PR and customer teams
  • Partner cross-functionally across the company to manage robust timelines and completion of all marketing plan deliverables
  • Quickly build meaningful relationships within the brand (Site Merchandise, Company Planning, Inventory Management, Loyalty, Marketing Effectiveness), within the marketing team (Brand Storytelling, Visual, Creative, Copywriting, Production) and across the organization (Advanced Analytics, Finance, counterparts at Banana Republic Specialty and sister brands such as Gap Outlet)
  • Help lead the performance marketing budget end-to-end, including the annual budget process, in-season management and tactical shifts needed to support business goals
  • Partner with brand team on Influencer Strategy as a way to fuel content and performance


Who You Are
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Brand Media, Customer Acquisition and Influencer Strategy

  • Sharp analytical skills and great attention to detail

  • Ability to manage and allocate brand media budgets is a key requirement. We are looking for someone who seamlessly enjoys diving into the data and a creative problem solver who pushes the boundaries and tries new approaches

  • Possess a strong understanding of brand media trends and an ability to quickly respond to customers changing shopping habits

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work comfortably in ambiguous situations

  • Fully Remote, but based in the PST or MST time zone is preferred
