Job description

About the RoleThe Marketing Manager for App is responsible for the strategy, execution & end to end audience experience for our native app and new direct response channels. This role is accountable for developing a compelling customer experience, measured by engagement & sales. The unique value this role brings is a 360 view of strategy, process, and performance with the goal of creating a best-in-class customer experience, customer retention & sales growth within these channels. This position will report to the Director of Audience Experience.What You'll Do
- Own all strategic elements including but not limited to acquisition/app downloads, push notifications, in-app-messages, feature page, and overall customer experience within the app
- Manage marketing execution within the app from briefing and approving copy, to calendaring and QAing app content refreshes
- Oversee channel reporting; make recommendations on areas of opportunity grounded in analytics and key KPIs, and see them through implementation
- Expand hind sighting dashboards and reporting summaries to share with key stakeholders
- Develop and optimize seamless processes for this channel across x-functional teams to deliver flawless execution and sales growth
- Work closely with native app product manager, marketing & operations teams, creative, app vendors and others
- Drive the exploration & implementation of new direct response channels for Gap OnlineWho You Are
- 5-7 years experience in digital marketing, CRM and/or cross-channel marketing, preference for previous app marketing experience
- Combine a results-driven analytical attitude with creative strategic thinking
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills - able to articulate client-centric recommendations and influence decisions based on data and insights
- Experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics required; familiarity with app-specific engagement and analytics platforms like Braze, Appsflyer + Amplitude is a plus
