Job description

Marketing Manager, Prada Beauty will play a key role in the exciting launch, implementation and presentation of the Prada Beauty brand (Skincare and Make-up). Candidate will implement strong 360 marketing strategy including launch plans, social media campaigns and promotional calendars while controlling costs. Manager will work closely with the Director to create, develop, execute, and evaluate new product launches and promotional marketing programs to support the brand. Responsibility will include presentation to retailers and national sales force. Finally, the Manager will be reporting sales results on a weekly basis along with recommendation as relevant.
4. Sales Reporting Responsibilities:
- Complete knowledge of unit/dollar volume for each product within brand responsibility for retail
- Weekly report the brand performance to the team and Identify gaps / opportunities and next steps
6. Additional responsibilities:
- Work with Director and VP to recommend strategic retail pricing for new products; recommend price increases for existing products
- Prepare Competitive Pricing Review of all product segments and major prestige brands bi-annually
- Maintain files of key competitive sampling vehicles/programs and competitive advertising and samples of new products as it applies to business segments
- Market visits on an ongoing basis

1. Marketing Services:
- Develop forecast proposals for new products/sku's as well as revised forecasts for existing businesses affected by launch
- Maintain accurate files on ongoing projects, keep abreast of all timetables for new product launches and ensure that deadlines are met in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels for retail and promotional items to ensure appropriate stock levels
- Develop Innovative and Breakthrough Social Media Influencer campaign
- Coordinate bi-annual phase-out meeting, recommending products for discontinuation, reviewing obsolete inventory levels, and lost revenue implications
- Work with Global marketing team to implement domestic applications of brand strategies and co-create best in class digital and social assets
- Closely partner with the sell in and sell through team to develop targeted plans to succeed in all key accounts
- Partner with COE team to reach excellence in digital and with the Communication team on developing a breakthrough A&I strategy
- Collaborate with the E.boutique & CRM teams to successfully launch Prada Beauty
- Handle all systems for the brand (PO, DPM, Esko, Skypad)
- Closely monitor brand performance and sales by SKU to quickly identify gaps and/or opportunities
2. Creative:
- Initiate new Marketing proposals and drive development with Creative group (especially on Merchandising)
- Generate/distribute creative fact sheets on new projects
- Ensure that Creative is aware of all copy/package direction, providing components, working copy, etc.
- Manage display development, focusing on marketing objectives
- Review all copy submissions
- Verify art mechanicals use accurate for content, and that they are released on time
- Monitor the accuracy of final copy/art mechanicals
3. Special Events:
- Work closely with Education team and all other cross functional teams to assist in development of all in-store/digital events, outlining objectives and budgets
- Ensure that all launch requirements are met
- Follow-up on all results and key learnings
5. New Products:
- Track retail performance of all new items for 6 months after launch
- Issue post-launch status reports to ensure that all launch commitments and backup orders are met
- Prepare quarterly brand review of new products vs. basic business
- Track retail sell-thru of all launches for the first 12 weeks plus key products and categories on an ongoing basis

Profile

- Bachelor's degree
- 3-4 years beauty and/or fragrance marketing experience required
- Digital Experience a strong plus
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation & Analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Beauty industry
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
- Knowledge of L'Oreal systems (PO, DPM, Esko, Skypad) and NPD is a strong plus
