Job description

The Merchandise Strategy & Operations Sr Manager will support assigned channel by coordinating across divisions and implementing strategies with strong ROI measures that drive profitable sales and better storytelling. Will be a strategic partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure channel ideas come to life for key time periods while optimizing shared assets
- Lead company standards for merchandise strategy for assigned channel across all business units
- Work across business units to improve how we merchandise and present, and ensure proper breadth of sale offering from event to event
- Develop strategy for bid process for teams to optimize product in assigned channel to ensure cohesiveness, and provide clarity and value to customers
- Manage rotational calendar that divisions use to improve performance. Ensure all aspects of the rotational calendar are implemented in area of responsibility
- Partner with analytics team to ensure assortment and pricing strategies optimize sales and margin results and align with merchandise presentation and space planning goals
- Maximize profitable use of price points and product placement within assigned channel for value driver and price-focused items
- Partner with Store Visual teams to design a shopping environment that is an engaging and welcoming experience for our customer through effective merchandise and visual standards and friendly and frictionless navigational signing
- Implement fixture planning for key events
- Support processes to sustain key strategic disciplines into the future
- Ensure all timelines and key deliverables are met

Profile

- Bachelor's degree
- 8-10 years of experience in retail industry and merchandising
- Experience and knowledge working with large volume retail inclusive of; multi-channel experience preferred
- Strong project management and execution skills with ability to manage a high-level of detail; ability to create and implement processes
- Builds strong relationships across business units and works well cross functionally
- Ability to leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate concisely and bring information/teams together with speed and efficiency
- Ability to critically analyze the business and generate new, creative ideas to drive results and profit; ability to bring together merchandise stories in assigned channel for cohesive stories by lifestyle
