WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Brand Manager for Fitness to join our North America Brand Marketing organization. Based in Los Angeles, you will help create the future of sport with a specific focus on our women consumer in North America. 

As a member of our North America Women’s Performance team, the Fitness Brand Manager will play a key role in the creation and planning of fitness-specific brand plans and driving cross-functional team success within the North America marketing team. Reporting directly to the Brand Director of Women’s Sport Performance - Fitness, this role will deliver brand plans that grow the business while creating deeper, lasting relationships with women (and all) athletes*. 

We are looking for someone who is curious, solution-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about the brand and women consumer, with a growth mindset and positive can-do attitude. They need to be a strong verbal and written communicator, comfortable managing ambiguity, think strategically, have a consumer-first attitude, and a comprehensive understanding of the fitness landscape., 

The candidate should have a comprehensive grasp of the Fitness landscape along with the ability to lead multiple projects and build strong working relationships across a matrixed organization. They should be a consumer centric digital first brand marketer with experience building omni-channel brands in the fitness industry. 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you will work closely with the North America Holistic Fitness Brand Director and Brand Specialist to collaborate with functional partners around the globe, geography, and key cities to drive category and seasonal initiatives. You will create full-funnel marketing campaigns, become an expert in consumer segmentation and product, develop online-to-offline consumer journeys, and write strategic briefs to drive the brand and business. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Be the voice of the women fitness consumer & expert in the fitness competitive landscape. 

•    Be tasked with bringing our women’s fitness brand strategy and omni-channel seasonal brand plans to life in North America. 

•    Partner with the brand director to support the holistic fitness brand concept, creative development, marketing briefs, strategic tools and marketing plans to fuel the brand from seasonal kick-off (sko) to launch readiness and recap.

•    Support the end-to-end process to gain insight from consumers including fitness and cultural trends.

•    Fuel digital first, seasonal brand and product marketing strategies from brief to execution. Continually create new consumer experiences that accelerate brand and business. 

•    Manage collaboration with key partners throughout the consumer code process and operate within a highly matrixed organization.

•    Pioneer new ways of working with geographies, global, and cross functional teams. 

•    Partner closely with city teams (LA, NYC, Chicago) to identify influencers and on market trends

•    Liaison for Merchandising, Finance, Consumer Planning, and Supply Management to incorporate commercial plans into seasonal strategies to achieve business objectives. 

•    Manage campaign progress measurement and recaps.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As the North America Women’s Holistic Fitness Brand Manager, you will report operationally to the Holistic Fitness Brand Director. You will work on a team of Brand Directors, Managers, and Specialists to build and implement marketing plans. You will collaborate with the other consumer constructs (Men’s & Kid’s) and cross-functional partners including Consumer Direct Marketing, Creative Studio, Integrated Media, PR & Communications, Catalyst Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, Sales & Merchandising, Planning, Operations, Agency and Production partners.

 

Profile

WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor/master's degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6+ years of experience in consumer marketing or related experience in retail marketing and/or digital brand marketing.
- Demonstrated genuine passion and deep understanding of Fitness, Fitness culture, fashion, trends and growing the sport across underserved communities.
- Consumer first brand builder with both brand and product marketing expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working within teams and a team-first mentality.
- Ability to lead initiatives and project teams.
- Ability to balance creativity with organization and discipline in fast moving, ambiguous environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Digital savvy, retail, account, and marketplace experience.
- Ability to influence decision makers.
- E-commerce, retail, and fitness industry experience.

The annual base salary for this position ranger from $118,000 in our lowest geographic market to $177,000 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience
