Job description

The Order Fulfilment and Production Manager will identify and drive all details of Purchase Orders (POs) and any changes to POs to ensure stock is available at the right time and in the right quantities to meet customer needs and the Region's financial objectives; this includes Direct Ship POs and any changes or updates that are needed with Pricing, Factories, Maersk or our customers.
A Little About What You'll Do:
- Responsible for the season set-up of vendor plans aligned with agreed lead-times and planning methods and the creation of the master data with specific focus to Direct Ship vendors
- Ensure clear documentation of packing, VAS and all other requirements to factories for Direct Ships
- Confirm, and where applicable, trouble shoot all label requirements for Special Make-ups (SMU's)
- Confirm buy readiness for all Direct Ships
- Partner with the UK Order Fulfilment (OF) team-based Purchasing and BU needs and support solutions to evolving needs (e.g: NOS, Direct Ships)
- Direct the communication with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sourcing and Logistics on any PO or customer changes to mitigate any commercial risks or chargebacks/penalties. Escalate where needed
- Manage improvement and transformation initiatives to drive agility and overall improvements
- Reporting
- Lead, train and maintain all US OF reporting capabilities on KPIs and Business Intelligence to feed into Global OF Reporting
- On Time In Full (OTIF), OCP, Capacity usage, Capacity Risk, Vendor spread and historical demand data
- Lead all extraordinary activity necessary to provide visibility and management of exceptional issues (e.g Covid19, natural disasters)
- Ensure close alignment with Demand Planning, Purchasing, Product Development, Logistics & CTC Operations
- Communicate and drive in facilitating correct pricing information from PD and off-shore teams is correctly inputted into required US systems
A Little About Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 Years of related experience, management experience preferred.
- Decisive, self-starter with ability to problem solve and take definitive action to ensure Direct Ship (as well as DC bound) product arrives in a timely manner.
- Strong knowledge how fulfilment works and how it relates to the wider supply chain. Preferred experience within a multi-region supply chain operation
- Experience of driving best practice behaviours through maintaining external knowledge of fulfilment planning trends
- Self-starter, Ability to problem solve and take decisive action
- Provide clear direction to commercial teams, off-shore teams, internal purchasing teams
- Partner with multiple cross-functional teams with a shared passion for delivering success
- Ensure high flexibility and agility of the team to respond to changing market needs
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the value chain to create and maintain Clarks' competitive advantage
