We are seeking a talent with experience in Footwear, Quality Assurance, and Product Integrity to join our team!
This position will report to the Director of Global Product Integrity. You will work with Product Integrity Team members globally, as well as with Business stakeholders, like Product Development, GSM, Design, Global Sourcing, Testing, as well as with Distribution Center team members on Quality Investigation.
Prevention - You will play a primary role in working with upstream teams and processes to ensure products are developed with quality as a goal.
- Leverage data: performance indicators, root cause analyses, consumer / marketplace quality signals, and other analyses to establish Upstream focus areas
- Build and lead Product Integrity Risk Assessment protocol into broader Product Development processes
- Collaborate with partners across Product Development, Materials, Testing Engineering, Manufacturing to identify line plan Product Integrity risks, build and align resolution or mitigation plans and track completion
- Create robust processes with documentation and escalation protocols across factories to support new models/styles/methods of make
Identification - As the HQ-based representative for Product Integrity dedicated to the Footwear business, this role will seek to identify and qualify issues and trends by developing accurate and timely signals from multiple points, then synthesizing into resolution and ongoing performance management activities.
- Support the systematic development and presentation of key quality metrics, dashboards and tools to support continuous improvement
- Partner with the Global Distribution Center (DC) Teams to audit, report, and resolve issues found during the In-Bound Process.
- Ensure that the DC In-Bound and Factory Inspections are properly calibrated and fully aligned as to what constitutes A-Grade, B-Grade, and C-Grade product
Resolution - This role will facilitate HQ support and communication in the resolution of product issues:
- Develop recommendations for resolution path on product issues leveraging inputs from upstream stakeholders and balancing commercial, brand and quality considerations
- Ensure effective and timely issue notification and resolution to ensure minimal impact to Initial In-Store Dates (ISD's)
- Issue controlled, clear, concise, and timely communications to all global stakeholders for all in-progress Product Integrity claims
- Utilize downstream engagement and collaboration on RCA's to drive quick response times and accurate analysis.
Culture of Quality - As a member of the Nike, Inc. Quality community, this role will support the development of a Culture of Quality through advocacy, awareness and networking activities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of Factory QBR workshops, Quality Summits, etc.
- Ensure alignment and consistency between Converse and Nike Inc. Quality through close collaboration and sharing of best practices, new protocols, etc.

- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance related work
- Footwear manufacturing experience,
- Experience working with global teams
- Demonstrated analytical and reporting skills
- Project management experience
- Proven ability to lead and influence business partners and discuss technical and quality issues with technical and non-technical partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred Certifications: Six Sigma Blackbelt, ASQ
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including domestically and internationally (Note: dependent on COVID restrictions)
