- Dual focus role for athlete product servicing (70%) and inline product management (30%), which will include a focus on development & customization of inline performance basketball products for PUMA basketball athletes
- Work cross functionally with Sports Marketing & Footwear development - both in the US and with PUMA Group Sourcing in Asia - to manage and execute designated calendar milestones pertaining to athlete seasonal footwear needs and adjustments
- Facilitate the communication and organization of new product wear tests with Sports Marketing, Footwear development, player agents, and club franchises for PUMA Basketball athletes
- Attend & Lead all wear test athlete sessions both in-person or virtually
- Manage promotional product ordering for athlete's performance and marketing needs
- Assist with overall industry analysis, market research, consumer research and competitive analysis
- Maintain product information systems ensuring data quality, including sell-in tool preparation and internal meeting setup
- Present all of the ranges, both internally to PUMA Merchandising and Sales and externally to key retailers, partners, and athletes
- Domestic & international travel with a frequency that is dependent on athlete needs & wear test availability
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance with 5-8 years' experience
- Knowledge of basketball or performance footwear with general footwear development & technical product knowledge
- Understanding of basketball consumer trends, sport culture, and market dynamics
- Effective communication and speaking skills including the ability to frame and defend an alternative position and to convincingly present category knowledge using PowerPoint and spreadsheet software tools
- Leadership skills with high initiative and energy, passion, decisiveness, and confidence
- Analytical with an eye for detail and overall business orientation
- In mid-2021, the PUMA North America Regional Corporate Headquarters will be moving to a new office located in Somerville, MA. All positions currently located at the Westford office, as well as at our International Boston office, will make this transition
