Job description

  • Build product assortments & manage the product creation process for Sportstyle Apparel products specifically drafted to the needs of North America and LATAM region, with a focus on PUMA Retail as well as Key Account Wholesale partners
  • Ensure that products are consumer focused, competitive & locally relevant for North America & LATAM through local market expertise, account & consumer insights
  • Manage the product creation process & calendar from brief to final product sign off on specific GTM timelines in collaboration with Design & Development
  • Liaise with Global Business Units and Regional Merchandising teams to ensure regional needs for silhouettes, fabrics & graphics are aligned with global collections & strategy in order to drive brand relevance & gain efficiencies
  • Build and share expertise about North America and LATAM markets & business developments, Key Accounts & consumers in constant exchange with Global Product Teams
  • Manage Product KPIs: competitive Retail Price, target FOB setting, margin, style efficiency as well as sustainability targets.
  • Analyze & suggest product decisions based on Orders, Sell-In, Sell-Through & consumer feedback in alignment with Head of Product Apparel
  • Contribute with product & consumer expertise to Marketing Teams for a fully aligned marketing launch
  • Ensure accurate and on-time development of seasonal product marketing info, catalogues, features and benefits, copy, etc.
  • Present product assortments during Key Account meetings
  • Ensure correct data maintenance in lineplan & PAC/PID system according to project calendar
  • Travel domestically and internationally 4-6 times a year for market research, customer meetings & Global Milestone meetings

Profile

  • Bachelor / Master Degree required (Fashion Management, Marketing, Business preferred)

  • 3-5 years experience in apparel product management

  • Knowledge and passion for apparel & sportswear industry

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization

  • Ability to spot trends and opportunities prior to becoming mainstream

  • Proven ability to work independently and multi-task

  • Creativity and ability to think out of the box

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and energy

  • Ability to work independently with a diverse group

  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated and proactive

  • Persuasive presentation skills and an ability to build consensus for ideas

  • Strong computer skills, with knowledge of basic MS Office programs
