Job description

As the Director of Product Management, Global Sourcing & Manufacturing (GSM) you will be a key leader who will partner across multiple GSM digital transformation efforts and will help the organization make decisions that will drive performance, directly leading to the accomplishment of fiscal year goals. With your strong Digital Product Management perspective, we will define and implement a roadmap to build sustainability, quality and responsiveness in our manufacturing supply chain. You will not only bring your strong leadership, but also a good understanding of the external landscape of emerging technologies or trends that GSM could improve as we advance the Digital Offense.
This position requires a high-energy, growth-mindset individual who leads with the customer, is strategic, likes to solve complex problems, thrives in ambiguity - with a strong technical, analytical and collaborative attitude. This role will require the individual to manage by influence and lead by example by helping coach teams on good product management standard methodologies. Candidates with supply chain product management in a retail and matrixed environment preferred.
You will report to the head of the GSM Product Management, and be a key member of the product leadership practice across Nike. You will partner closely with the GSM, Data & Analytics and Technology partners as we identify digital opportunities and develop strategies and roadmaps prioritized by customer value.
To accomplish this, as a leader you will collaborate with GSM Business functions, Technology and Analytics partners to find opportunities, prioritize & build digital products and deliver tangible customer value across key areas of GSM (Source Base Management, Product & Manufacturing Excellence, Materials Excellence, Sustainable Manufacturing). You will also collaborate with internal teams at Nike including Product Creation, Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics, Technology and Finance as well as externally with our supplier partners globally.


- Degree in supply chain, engineering, systems, economics, applied statistics or another quantitative field is required.
- 5-10 years of experience in product management/digital capability leadership roles in Supply Chain - Design, Development, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics.
- Strategy development skills and a great communicator who can explain complicated topics in a simple way to a broad set of partners - ex: Executive, Operations, Data Scientist, Developer.
- Return on investment/Opportunity Analysis (ex: NPV/IRR), Agile Methodologies including Intake & Discovery management, Epic/Feature/Story writing, Estimation, Iterative Value Delivery and Measurement.
- Experience developing and scaling new digital programs, as well as monitoring and refining existing programs to meet the company's objectives, strategies, and forecasts.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams in the development of (supply chain) digital capabilities.
- Experience collaborating with Change Management, Training and Portfolio Management teams to deliver successful digital user experiences.
- Good understanding and appreciation of digital technologies including enterprise solutions, SaaS, PaaS, Make vs. Buy decisions.
