Who we are looking for
The Post-Purchase Product team is looking for a Carrier Services Product Manager to help Nike consumers get what they want, when they want it, and how they want it! We're looking for candidates who are passionate about building culture and have a track record of conceiving, building, and improving digital capabilities that change the way brands handle fulfillment. This Product Manager will be accountable for the development of capabilities at the heart of Nike's supply chain and Online to Offline (O2O) strategies. Our best Product Managers are detail-oriented, data-savvy, empathize with their customers, and are strong communicators who work well across a diverse set of cross-functional partner teams.
What you will work on
As part of the Digital Post-Purchase Fulfillment team, you'll help invent the future of digital fulfillment at Nike and will contribute to the creation of world-class digital experiences for Nike consumers worldwide! You will help define and execute the global product vision and strategy, lead the end-to-end lifecycle of a product, accountable for all features involving communications with Nike digital last-mile carriers, including order fulfillment and returns choices and providing certainty and updates to consumers on when they will get that coveted pair of AJ11s at the top of their list. You will be responsible for analyzing and delivering on product/business critical metrics, evaluating product performance as well as defining, driving and shipping innovative digital fulfillment features. You can articulate clear and compelling product vision, and you love jumping into the details to bring your idea to life. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, has fun working across a variety of teams, and is always looking for new ways to innovate for our consumers.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of Roadmap, Feature Ideation, Development, & Iteration:
Lead the end-to-end design, development, and evangelization process for carrier services, which includes all interactions with carriers related to consumer deliveries and returns. Build maturity paths with partners to define and maintain a broad feature-sequencing framework driven by commercial and consumer outcomes. Partner with supply chain and digital commerce teams to evaluate new insights based on strategic, commercial and product fit.
- Fulfillment Model Standardization:
Work with supply chain and technology teams to drive standardization of models and architecture, leading to faster delivery of features to consumers
- Drive Feature Evangelization:
Champion digital fulfillment throughout product, supply chain and technology organizations. The work you will be driving keeps our promise to consumers and brings them back to our Nike digital experiences - rise to that challenge and speak to how your vision will help Nike's consumers and our growth as a company
- Demonstrate Consumer Empathy & Competitive Awareness:
Live your customer's reality, approaching opportunities from both our consumers' view and from the seats of our supply chain teams
- Use Data to Advise Decisions:
Define contextual critical metrics, measure for them, and conduct recurring product readouts with partners. Example metrics in this space include: lead time to onboard new carriers and service levels, carrier data timeliness/quality, and median consumer distance to pickup and returns locations
- Exhibit a Bias for Delivery:
Participate in Agile ceremonies and keep the cross-functional team passionate about near-term results in a constantly evolving environment. Identify bridge solutions and openly discuss technical debt tradeoffs and plans to remediate.
Who you will work with
As part of the Post-Purchase Product team, you'll work across a set of cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, engineering, architecture, digital commerce, analytics, and geography-specific marketplace and operations teams. Leading through influence and by using data to advise decisions, you will be a leader who effectively prioritizes resources to achieve business goals while delighting Nike consumers.


What you bring
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, working as a product manager on Agile development teams passionate about global digital products, preferably within the domain of digital commerce or fulfillment
- Strong analytical background and/or relevant data-driven job experience
- Outstanding problem solving, with emphasis on impactful data driven decision making
- Ability to build high-level expected outcome / business case models with assumptions that can be validated / tested
- High attention to detail including a consistent track record to document requirements
- Strong communications skills with the ability to speak to different audiences in their "native languages"
- Strong organizational skills with experience meeting deadlines and leading important priorities across a cross-functional team
- Ability to write product specifications and understand design concepts and principles
- Validated contributions to a successful project or product previously
- Experience with Carrier Integrators, API development / management, and carrier document exchange is recommended
- Experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System is a plus
- Experience with O2O consumer pickup location choices including carrier pickup networks, store fulfillment and lockers is recommended
- Experience with SaaS vendor Statements of Work is a plus
