Job description

The Product Owner is responsible for the quality and strategic impact of a digital product of medium to high complexity and works together with the Senior Product Owner and an agile team on continuously improving and evolving the product in order to optimize the value for the consumer.
Partnering with IT and key stakeholders to contribute to a robust product backlog, managing capability expansion increments and leading the team towards new functionalities & features are a few examples of activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, this role collaborates with various internal stakeholders, including Markets and other Global Team Sports teams to drive consumer engagement and satisfaction, as well as incremental revenues by delivering digital experiences.
- Product Ownership for components of the adidas Locker Room
- Create and translate requirements into user stories for new product features, considering the value for the consumer and the company, as well as its role and impact on the adidas digital ecosystem. Break down requirements into deliverables, determining effort and Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
- Manage implementation and go-live of process and system changes as Product Owner
- Ensure that objective data sources and feedback are used for the optimization of the product
- Support market stakeholders concerning market roll-outs and user acceptance tests for new functionalities
- Foster collaborative relationships with IT, Design and Content teams to steadily improve processes and velocity
- Support in creation of product strategy and perform competitor analyses to ensure the product is in line with the latest industry trends
- Work in agile manner with the willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
- Good communication skills and comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely
- Solutions-oriented approach and entrepreneurial mindset
- Passion for eCommerce, digital marketing, user experience and technology with a consumer-centric mindset
- Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Product management experience
- Working knowledge of Agile working methods e.g. Scrum/Kanban
- Working knowledge of product management tools such as Jira, Confluence or AHA!
- Fluent in English both verbally and written
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2,5 years of work experience in an international set-up
- 1+ years of work experience in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment, preferably in product management
- Working experience in agile projects using SCRUM or comparable frameworks
