Job description

In partnership with Retail Director, the Program Manager- Designer Operations will drive monthly and quarterly business performance management processes working cross functionally with Marketing, Site, Visual Merchandising, Creative, and Store Teams. The ideal Program Manager drives results, has a strong track record of cross functional team communication management, and can build trust through honesty, integrity and authenticity.
A day in the life...
- Manage process for critical share-outs, ensuring Merch Teams are given appropriate lead time to pull together necessary information (Market Recap, Monthly Priorities, FIT etc)
- Support the ongoing management of the holistic department roadmap and build the business rhythms and reporting required to achieve team goals
- Support DSA / Merch team communication of monthly reports and scheduling of monthly communication calendar
- Manage Brand Retail needs; VM support, PK training, store visits with the relevant internal stakeholders and team
- Support store projects across Store Design (floorplans, communication between Merch and SD, pull together information to be compiled into brand pitch decks for personalization) and VM (installations, New Concepts)
- Manage and facilitate store communication of merchandising announcements (adds/edits, priorities, important updates), acting as the conduit for store feedback to the buying teams on product, customer, opportunities
- Evaluate data into information, information into action and action into value for Nordstrom


- Designer Experience: Worked in the Designer realm in some capacity and have a proficient knowledge of Luxury/ Designer brands; relationship with brands a plus
- Can facilitate decision making: Bring forward decisions for leadership, ensuring that options are clearly outlined with necessary information and strategic implications
- Demonstrated excellent analytical ability
- Strong quantitative skills, including proven expertise in model building and insight generation
- Ability to develop project plans and manage project execution
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated capability to distill large amounts of information into concise and compelling updates for executive leadership
- Experience integrating new software and programs to data services
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
