We're looking for a Project Manager that is responsible for leading and tracking designated workstreams across Global Brand Marketing. The Project Manager is highly organized, efficient and results driven. An authority in managing and tracking marketing projects and cross-functional team management, balancing the tactical needs of execution with the presentation skills required to handle brief desires and realities
This role is a highly pivotal role that will partner across core teams and peers of Nike to ensure communication of facts are being delivered consistency. They will be the traffic manager of facts and key decisions that affect (positive and negative) the outcome of the project(s)
The ideal candidate needs to have the skill to both make the right decisions and communicate them convincingly, acting as the project team quarterback that other team members consistently seek out for answers that are fast, authoritative, and right. The skills and duties necessary for success in this role will be
- Development, implementation, and oversight of project plans
- Responsible for ensuring that initiatives are carried out and delivered by on time and within budget
- Partner with Studio partners to ensure consistency and project timing are aligned
- Defining a clear path for success on complex projects!
- Maintain a constant view of all work in flight across your projects
- Provide project leadership visibility and insights through the execution, implementation, and operationalization of each and every project
- Manage a complex matrixed environment
- Excellent ability to effectively connect with internal team members across multiple levels, building trust in your abilities to get the job done effectively
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficient in financial and overall budget management
- Demonstrated self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Show a clear ability to work autonomously, with solid decision-making skills
- Ability to set expectations at project kickoff, and when issues arise to find solutions without compromising quality, team morale, or budget - turning challenging situations into an outcome where everybody wins
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing, tracking and delivering marketing projects & workstreams assigned to you by your Project Management Director. You will report into the Project Director of your function. You play a supporting role in the consumer code process from Seasonal Kick-off to execution, working closely with all cross-functional partners, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope and on brief. You will partner closely with Brand Planning, Studio Management, Production, and CDM defining the scope of delivery, communicating budget and timelines.
You will be working with teams in Marketing, vendors, Geos, and cross functional partners of Marketing. Your job, first and foremost, is to ensure that marketings house is in order. We must ensure that everyone within marketing is aware of expected outcomes and what is and is not required of them to ensure we deliver on time and within expectations.
A typical day/week is never the same. You will be looking to manage all activities around the project that ensure on time, on expectation, and on budget projects. No project is created equal but you will use your years of experience to drive your work and the success of the project on a day to day basis.
This is the Nike matrix and you are going to be the single source of truth for information along the organization. You'll report directly to your Director. You will be part of a project management team alongside other Project Managers and Coordinators, we will partner with you for guidance as you learn and grow in your experience. You are the key project management partner to the leader of your specific function!


- Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
- 5+ years Project Management experience
- 5+ years experience in a indirect people management role
- A seasoned and strong ability to problem solve through project challenges
- The temperament of a leader: flexible, resilient, empathetic and assertive
- Experience managing budgets ($1-$5M+) and delivering on initiatives
- Experience working with global production partners and agencies
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be driven and passionate about the brand
