Job description

We're looking for a Project Manager of Old Navy Labor Strategy to support the labor management strategy in our North America Old Navy Stores.
The Project Manager of Labor Stratetgy supports effective scheduling and field execution through interaction with cross functional and cross channel business partners. Supports effective communication, tools and resources that drive field execution of effective scheduling and payroll managment. This role will manage all workload related activities to be funded through labor allocation and provide field resources.
The role is responsible for managing all operational aspects of labor management, weekly labor allocation, workload management and accurately planning for each store's unique attributes. This role partners with the Director of Labor and Allocation to influence key business partners across all functions and channels and represents the voice of the Brand in all interactions.
This role builds strong cross-functional partnerships at all levels with Store Operations, Store Leadership Teams, Upper Field Leaders, Market Planning, Territory Finance Officers and Analysts, Transportation & Logistics, Store Planning, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Field Visual, Field Finance and Testing amongst others. What you'll do
- Manage labor allocation, budget and model to ensure all attributes and funding for workload is accurate at the store level
- Lead and coordinate field feedback to support better payroll allocation and applying that to future initiatives
- Recommend change management strategies to effectively implement initiatives
- Oversee and execute all store communication associated with payroll initiatives
- Collaborate with Field and HQ teams to determine opportunities for process improvement
- Analyze and propose solutions, within brand store environment
- Develop and influence labor strategies to ensure flawless execution through effective communication, details and timing to stores
- Manage in store execution of effective scheduling and payroll management through ensuring stores have the right tools, resources and education


- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of analytical expertise with a focus in labor management
- Advanced excel skillset (Access, Essbase, PowerBI a plus)
- Ability to execute a labor allocation strategy that drives labor optimization
- Ability to model financial and business indicators as key inputs to effective forecasts & budgets
