Project Manager, Store Operations - Field Communication And Strategic Planning

Job description

The project manager develops project plans for communication vehicles and creates clear, concise communication from the Home Office to all levels of the field organization. They are an advocate for the field organization and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver streamlined touchpoints year-round. Project areas include communication tools, field calendars, and internal and external workload planning.
Specifically, this position will:
- Develop and manage communication project plans to support partners' initiatives and key priorities
- Manage and lead weekly cross-functional meetings within stores ops and the brand to understand upcoming projects and communication needs
- Collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners on messaging timing and best delivery method(s)
- Support day-to-day operations and activities including reactionary messaging and planning calendars
- Influence cross-functional partners to effectively plan non-selling field activities so the field can focus on sales and update/maintain field workload calendars
- Review, edit and write communication for the field ensuring content is clear, concise and consistent with brand standards
- Identify opportunities and recommend/influence changes to processes to drive internal and external efficiencies
- Prepare and present projects, milestones, deliverables and status updates to leadership
- Proactively gather feedback from stores and field leaders on communication and timing of communication to consistently make improvements
- Approximately 10% travel required


- 3-6 years project management/store operations experience; minimum 2 years of project management experience
- Retail experience preferred, field experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and drive projects to completion through cross-functional collaboration
- Possess the ability to multi-task large volumes of work in a demanding and constantly evolving environment
- Partner with and influence others to drive results
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with all levels of leadership
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including InDesign
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
