Job Description

Title: Regional Account Executive, Northeast

Overview

The Regional Account Executive is accountable for achieving sales and profitability plans. This role provides direction and leadership to the commercial stores within the territory through leadership, training and talent development. The Regional Account Executive negotiates all product and inventory needs localized to each market and they are responsible for managing inventory and turn for wholesale accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Goal Achievement and Expense Control:

  • Services and provides sales support for wholesale doors
  • Forecasts and reports projections for monthly and seasonal needs.
  • Tracks and reports sales performance and inventory stock.
  • Develops budget and order plans for each account in accordance with specified sales targets.
  • Monitors inventories and coordinates replenishment.
  • Delivers the sales and product targets for all DY New Product Markets.
Account Management:

  • Manages a territory of Key Account and Independent Jewelers.
  • Supervises order flow to ensure proper delivery and merchandising of product.
  • Ensures accounts adhere to brand visual standards and implements seasonal visual enhancements.
  • Visits accounts regularly to reinforce customer relationships. Gathers and communicates feedback regarding product assortment and needs.
  • Negotiates product buying and planning. Gathers competitive data and market insights.
Marketing / Event Planning:

  • Assists and participates in special events at stores. Executes events seamlessly and drives client follow up.
  • Participates in planning for advertising and seasonal mailers.
  • Helps support David Yurman Retail events in their territory.
Client Experience:

  • Manage customer service activities and staff competence to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify trends and make suggestions to improve and enhance retail performance to deliver sales and service goals.
  • Ensure brand environment is impeccable at all times; partner with corporate teams for repairs, maintenance, IT, lighting, etc.
  • Understands and communicates the customer nuances unique to the market.
Training and Talent Development:

  • Plans and implements store and team training according to DY Training Program for both DY Retail and Wholesale stores in territory.
  • Provides Onboarding Quarterly for key management hires.
  • Ensures the full implementation of training programs for new store managers and coach/develop to ongoing performance needs.
  • Builds cross-departmental relationships and partners with management and visual in store to increase the brand presence and drive associates to sell David Yurman.
Qualifications

  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Work Experience: Wholesale and/or retail luxury goods sales background and experience managing sales support staff. Established contacts with major regional jewelers preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively.
  • Possesses solid business acumen and well-versed in managing stock and sales plans.
  • Excellent communication and follow through skills. Dynamic, energetic and passionate about selling and the David Yurman brand.
Education: Four year college degree; Degree in business or marketing is ideal

Location: Northeast

Travel: Extensive travel required

Working Mode: in office on Monday, traveling Tuesday-Friday

Estimate Pay Rate: $120,000-125,000

Base pay is one component of David Yurman's total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
