The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for growing the business through measuring results through continuous improvement in company measured KPI's, ensuring adherence to prioritizing, Planning and scheduling is modeled across the Region. In partnership with Regional Director understand and evolve relevant business concepts and processes that align to the larger organization. This position requires heavy collaboration with other functions including Operations, Loss Prevention, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Human Resources. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the region and SBH financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

Job description

The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for growing the business through measuring results through continuous improvement in company measured KPI's, ensuring adherence to prioritizing, Planning and scheduling is modeled across the Region. In partnership with Regional Director understand and evolve relevant business concepts and processes that align to the larger organization. This position requires heavy collaboration with other functions including Operations, Loss Prevention, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Human Resources. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the region and SBH financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
Operations:
- Responsible for the execution of operational initiatives and tools; partners cross-functionally in the Region to ensure simplicity and ease of use for the field team to be successful; monitors field execution and keeps field leadership apprised of performance gaps
- Activates productivity standards through time and motions/process improvement studies/
- Optimizes back of house room processes; seeks out opportunities to increase efficiency and streamline workload of the store and field teams
- Executes and measures to streamline and improve the store opening and set down processes; provides method of accountability to ensure optimal execution across the support center and field teams
- Maintains oversight of payroll budget, trends and analysis to ensure optimized labor spend
Performs Region-wide analysis of operational KPIs to identify global themes for improvement; works with RD/DM to develop strategies and action to improve performance gaps

Profile

Safety & LP
- Collaborates with LPBP to ensure all policies and procedures align with safety and asset protection goals.
- Monitors execution of inventory-related activities (Physical inventory, correction counts, damages, shipment); develops action plans with Region partners as needed to reduce shrink.
- Identifies P&L opportunities for store and field controllable expenses and develops action plans to address (supplies, freight, maintenance spend, etc.
