Job description

* Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with leading the store team and serve as the expert on company culture, store operations, policies & procedures, management and exceptional sales and service skills
* Assist with training and motivating associates to achieve maximum sales productivity and ensures that sales plans are achieved
* Opening/closing procedures of the store, completion of returns and exchanges in the absence of a manager
* Lead the sales floor during non-peak times to ensure a consistently memorable guest experience while building lasting relationships
* Support the management team with consistent communication between associates and managers of daily tasks
* Prepare store for opening and closing procedures, and comply with cash handling policy, notifying a manager of any cash shortages or discrepancies
* Greet customers with a smile, friendly voice, and open body language
* Discover customers’ needs by asking questions, listening well, and recommending appropriate
* Maintain and update and active clientele portfolio
* Meet or exceed individual and store level sales targets/goals
* Strong upselling skills
* Participate in promotions and marketing initiatives
* Ensure that all merchandise are maintained and set to company standards
* Follow all loss prevention control and compliance procedures
* Assisting in merchandising and re-stocking all products, in the morning and as needed throughout the day
* Maintaining store appearance to corporate standards (clean, aesthetically pleasing environment)
* Verify that the prices and labelling of the merchandise is correct
* Avoid possible fraudulent payments and refunds, tickets and false cards, damaged goods, warn the managers of possible theft
* Fulfil the health and safety rules, maintaining a secure and healthy work environment


* At least 2-3 years in a fashion retail environment
* At least 1 to 2 years of experience as key holder or shift leader
* Ability to work retail part time hours including weekends, holidays and special events in a fast paced work environment
* Strong sales background
* A professional appearance
* Ability to work both independently and in a team
* Ability to work across cultures and interact effectively with offshore crew
* Ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships
