About the Job
The Retention Marketing Manager will oversee retention marketing for Beyond Yoga. You will focus on maximizing customer lifetime value through email marketing, mobile messaging, and website optimization. In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Ecommerce.
**This role is fully remote optional but Los Angeles area is preferred due to possible hybrid work model once the offices reopen.
What you'll do
- Create, optimize, and evolve retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value
- Lead all marketing communication efforts through email and mobile marketing channels
- Develop a robust, best-in-class email marketing program designed to drive engagement and sales through triggered, transactional and marketing communications
- Identify key customer segments and attributes, and tailor campaigns to maximize LTV based on the audience
- Own and drive growth of email and mobile databases
- Balance profitability and customer LTV through consistent improvement on the site experience and a laser-focus on customer satisfaction
- Maintain and evolve a robust A/B testing framework and consumer insight feedback loop to validate and drive key business decisions and the overall consumer experience
- Partner closely with customer acquisition and direct mail teams to maximize full funnel conversion efforts
- Share creative wins and opportunities with creative/brand teams, and partner on a consistent testing plan across all key content components (subject lines, email layout, CTA placement, etc.)
- Report and analyze campaign performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; develop insights and make recommendations for action and opportunitiesWho you are

- Data driven with a consumer-first focus. You have a strong track record of leveraging analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive growth for direct-to-consumer products or services
- Adaptable and ambitious. You enthusiastically take on other assignments when needed to support your teamWhat you'll need
- 5+ years of retention marketing experience in an e-commerce business
- Solid background in email and mobile marketing, business analytics, website analytics and optimization
- Working proficiency with Klaviyo or similar EMS platform
- Experience must include analytics-based decision-making where success is measured in terms of customer growth and lifetime value
- Results-oriented, innovative self-starter with track record of excellent results in a fast-growth environment
- Experience with leading-edge ecommerce segmentation methodologies and their respective role in marketing communications
- Forward-thinking, marketing/business development-focused individual with a solutions-forward approach
- Proven ability to consume and interpret data, work with decision analysts to get to clear results and analysisBenefits
