Job Overview
Macy's Media Network is looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our growing team. The Senior, Account Manager will be the primary relationship manager and thought partner coordinating the development of strategic advertising plans with our clients and internal teams. The Senior, Account Manager will spearhead the end-to-end client relationship from drafting the initial proposal (in conjunction with the Sales team), to leading negotiations, monitoring execution and delivering post-campaign reporting. The Senior, Account Manager will continue to look for ways to improve the relationship and look for new opportunities to grow the account with Macy's Media Network. The Senior, Account Manager will work closely with the Media Planning and Analytics teams as well as key contacts within Macy's Merchant Marketing and Customer Insights teams to build and report on holistic proposals and plans for our clients. The Senior, Account Manager will also work with the Ad Operations / Creative team to ensure campaigns are executed as planned. The Senior, Account Manager will share feedback and insights on new partnership opportunities or strategies that should be considered in the future as we further grow the Macy's Media Network offering. This is a unique opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment (brand new offering in the market, small and nimble team) with the resources, organizational support and existing vendor relationships of an industry leader.
Essential Functions
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and thought partner for clients
- Act as the main point of contact and coordinate the inputs from cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead meetings and spearhead the creation of PowerPoint presentations built with input from cross-functional partners as needed
- Contribute to the development of thoughtful, innovative and strategic marketing plans for advertisers based on a deep understanding of Macy's onsite/off site offerings, thorough knowledge of the advertisers objectives/KPIs and within the framework of the business rules
- Maintenance of and adherence to the rate card with an eye on yield management as vendor relationships are fostered and contracts negotiated
- Partner with Creative and Ad Operations counterparts to ensure plans are integrated and executed appropriately

Min/Preferred Education Level Description
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Years Of Experience
Minimum Years of Experience - 5 Years
Maximum Years of Experience - 8 Years
Comments - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business, Marketing or related field
Competencies
- 5-8 years of experience in ad sales / account management or digital marketing/media
- Deep knowledge of media, advertising, data and programmatic landscape
- Strong existing relationships across the digital ecosystem
- Proven ability to manage relationships (both internal and external)
- Strong analytic, strategic and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven organizational skills and flawless attention to detail
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledge of the terminology and mechanics of the online advertising industry; knowledge of retail media is a plus
- Ability to thrive and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
