The Senior Analyst will have financial reporting and analysis responsibilities for select brands within the Active Cosmetics Division. This position works directly with the Brand Finance Director, the ACD Marketing Teams and General Management in managing the brand P&L in order to promote optimal decision making within the business.
- Provide Financial support and guidance to the Brand Finance lead and the brand marketing teams
- Manage the A&P budget file in totality including planned and actual spend and ensure expenses are classified in accordance to the L'Oreal Finance Norms
- Responsibility for monthly closing journal entries, actuals reporting and analysis
- Monthly closing of PLP, Cost and PLC in Compass
- Responsibility for A&P budget and trend creation and maintenance in Compass
- Inform Financial Controller of risks & opportunities identified through budget management and ongoing meetings with business partners
- Ad hoc analysis to evaluate spend and enable management to make sound business decisions
- Preparation of key reports including customer and franchise P&L's
- Use of Compass and Excel to help effectively manage the P&L on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Ad hoc projects to improve controls / reporting


- 2 - 5 years of experience in finance preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required
- MBA/CPA a plus
- Strong computer skills required (Excel a must)
- SAP or TM1/Cognos a plus
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
